Anyway, let's start from the beginning. Who &/or what is Perez Hilton? Is that like Paris Hilton?

No, Perez Hilton is a fake name. He was born as Mario Armando Lavandiera Jr.

Essentially he's a washed-up actor and celebrity gossip blogger. He used to be pretty big like, years ago. However, the only reputation he has, has been gained because of him being a complete asshole. He's sort of like Keemstar but more famous and with more money.

Seriously, the last time anybody heard about this guy before him crying about Jon Jafari was when Miley Cyrus, of all people, kicked his shit in on twitter over some pieces he wrote about her.

-He frequently outs other celebrities who are in the closet, himself being openly gay.
-He rigged the 2009 Miss USA Pageant against a certain contestant over her views on Marriage.
-He claimed that Michael Jackson was pulling a publicity stunt by being sent to the hospital in the hours leading up to the singers death.
-He posted an upskirt, pantyless picture of Miley Cyrus while the singer was still underaged, essentially posting Child Pornography
-He claims to be an anti-Bullying activist and complains that in the future his son will get bullied too. This lead Khloe Kardashian to out him as having bullied her. Moral of the story: never trust "anti-bullying activists" under any circumstances.
-He has been threatened by Ariana Grande (who is a celebrity lolcow in her own right) with lawsuits repeatedly over allegations of slander on Mario's part.
-He legitimately made a song about having STD's titled "The Clap"

I knew about the son, but not the daughter. The son was also born from a surrogate, he's older than the girl I guess. Mario's mom and sister live with him and take care of his kids; he was begging for a boyfriend / husband for years, but no one could stand him, so he resorted to surrogate parenthood as a single dad. His sister was hired as an additional writer after about 3 years of operation; I believe she's the only other writer on the site.

edit: the children are biologically related to him, fyi. So those ugly genes live on.

This is a rumor that Sam Smith created because he was sour from being banned from the board and unfollowed by Amy Lee. The reason the forum was shut down was because Mr. Smith and some of his followers were harassing certain members of the board. There was never any "child pornography" or anything of that kind on that board.
