I've found a company in Indochina willing to strike at $4.30 per coin and the dies are only $900 for both. Lets do it. Going to finalize the designs this weekend. Once things are moving we'll do pre-orders. The dies are going to take about 2 weeks to make and that's when I'll run.
Rough order of magnitude estimate on coin price possible? Thanks!

I'm curious if anyone can make "Mind your business" work on the design (design into current kiwi coin, not the other way around).
I apologize for how scuffed this is because I’m doing this on mobile software since I’m away from my computer. Would something like this work?

It's going to be about $4.50 per coin to strike, $950 for the dies, and then shipping is going to be a clusterfuck I'm going to have to think about.

Based on the volume of replies and the fact a lot of people are offering to buy more than 1 I'm expecting to sell at least 500 but the more the merrier. The more coins ordered, the less the effective price of the dies per coin (dies last about 10,000 strikes).

I'd personally like $10 profit per coin. I'm thinking of terms of like, if we sell 500 at $10 then this would be worth about $5000. If we sell more, great. It's a hard stance of trying to get a good balance between "too little take home to be worth the effort" vs. "too much markup to entice buyers".

Then shipping is its own fucking nightmare. I'm thinking my best bet will be to dropship it from EU and US. I have to mail a giant box of silver anyways, so I might as well mail two smaller boxes of silver and then let people save money on shipping.

What country are they being made it? I am still hoping for England so I can call them Britcoins.

I think final design looks good. The picture of chris looks a little wonky, but I mean....so does his face I guess. I think either inscription would be fine. I more like the font of the 1776 BF token more than "mind your business", but either I think is still cool. Can't wait for them to be on sale.

I'll be finalizing the designs with the artists this weekend, and if they're approved I will start sales as early as next week.

My only concern is the text. I feel like something about the way the text is presented, or the text itself, should change.

We may be changing it to "Ex Veritate, Cum Probitate".
Very recently I learned of a phrase coined on the Continental Coin created by Benjamin Franklin: "Mind your business"

I like it. Despite its historical value and obvious meaning, it retains value as a contemporary expression. As an added bonus, it has a ironic quality to it when stamped in association with this site.

Like this, perhaps?

I still don't like the way Chris' face looks on the coin but if I'm going to be displaying it I really only need to like one side so I'll just suck it up.
