The Time
Silver demand is ridiculous right now. The wait will be up to 15 weeks. For that reason, there will probably be two runs of this. The first immediately to pay off debt related to materials, the second as we near production to make sure everyone wants it, gets it.


The Purpose
I am being sued by two people. The expenses are thousands of dollars. I also want to buy a new server for our Federated services (kiwifarms.cc / matrix.kiwifarms.net) which are laboring on an econ server I bought for like $800 two years ago. The profits from these sales will go towards those causes.


The Price
~$42.80 per coin, or $17.76 over spot.

Based off of an estimated 500 round sales, I have split the price of production by that number.

Spot Price (Locking in on ~Monday)
+ $4.30 for striking fees,
+ $0.60 for coin capsule,
+ $1.83 for die development (split),
+ $0.34 for artwork (split),
+ $0.72 for shipping (split),
+ $9.97 markup
= $17.76, or $42.80 at current spot.

If these 500 sell out, I will look at where we're at and open up again.

The cost of overseas shipping is ridiculous from the US and I want to do something different this time. I can probably ask the mint guys to split the order to two different continents. It is being produced by a group in Singapore and will be shipped from there. I have not a fucking clue how I am going to price for shipping.

As a measure of last resort I can just send the silver to a guy I know in the US who can do fulfillment. I can also ship to myself, but I'm wary of import fees. This will really eat into my margins and it will jack up the price of orders overseas. This seems kind of ridiculous too because the order is already starting out in the old world.

For the love of fucking god if you have a sensible idea for how to get these to people for less than the cost of the fucking silver I am begging you to tell me what your idea is.

Is there any possibility of outside interference? You know there are people literally champing at the bit for a chance to fuck you over yet again.

You could have the customer pay some of the shipping fees, but not all of them. Price looks very good, plan to buy two.

I've had a look on the Revolut app and it does let you transfer money to the US. I've not done it myself but unless you have a premium or metal account they usually charge a fee on foreign transfers. You'll need the Farms' account number and routing number (which I'm guessing is their equivalent to our sort-codes?) but it does look easy enough.

Maybe you can get on board with them or somebody like them and just keep an account? You can also ask if they do one time or irregular sales or know who does. Lots of info on that site.

If you only ever sold t-shirts this may not be worth it but you are a pretty creative guy and some other whack idea will come to you that we all buy into.

Anyway, may be worth a look.

I have been doing shipping for a few years but nothing for metals. Normally I would suggest something fly on a plane to one location to another with the product and distribute from there as it is a SHIT ton cheaper but, I do not think the silver will cause problems but not be allowed through. Customs n all that jaz.

International shipping is really fucked at the moment. So anything leaving china will have to go to CA on boat first and be flown from there at the cheapest method. But getting to the US is fine so far.
Countries I have been having issues with the most
AUS (strong restrictions currently)
SPN (just generally sucks at doing anything)
CAD(its off and on)
UK (its infrequent but I am getting issues)

-I would NOT use USPS at this time. It is much cheaper if you get a business account with them but they are losing packages left and right their system is really jacked right now. Please avoid if you are able. Never get a package with out insurance. They steal and lose shit all the time now more than ever.
-FedEx has been stable but for small items it will be pricey even with an account. Id use it only if you have to. They do not care what you ship and will ask no questions. They can fast pass though customs
-DHL I have not tested but I have herd is getting pretty good. I would check their prices as in some areas they can match USPS prices but with out their bs and can also do international a bit smoother I am told from my customers. (I was looking at new options myself) They are slower for international but they work well with international distribution centers.
-UPS is stable and prices are fair for now. You get default tracking with all items as the min so there's that. They can also fast pass customs. But I would call and see what kind of deal they can get you as it varies unless your going to ship all the time.

The next thing would be bulk or pallet shipping. It is THE slowest shipping method but it is THE cheapest around. What happens is it will wait until that pallet is full going the direction of the package. So if it is going from CNA to USA it will wait till the container is full. From there it will be broken to state. Ship to state then lastly distributed to probably USPS as its last mile or other 3rd party delivery. It varies as companies can bid for the last mile on them if they do not have a full set up.
Its awful and tracking is more vague. It can take internationally, 2-5 months to arrive depending on how little is going that way. But it is cheapest. DHL I think offers this option if you have to go with a company with a name. I would have to look, it is not my preferred option but I have used it.
If you like this option I can shop around for you.

Edit, if you want cheap labels you can also use PirateShip, EasyPost or ShipEasy. Its stupid easy to use and you can ship though any provider you choose, though it.
