Personal Lolcows: Tumblr Edition - A website like Tumblr tends to breed exceptional individuals

Personally not sure if this should go here or normal personal lowcows since it's a twitter user, but it's mostly due to their mannerisms being incredibly tumblry so i'll post it here.
I knew someone that was cool for a bit then started to pick up on tumblr-esque mannerisms that made them uncomfortable to be around. They started doing kin stuff abruptly, and wouldn't really shut up about it. They refuse to talk to and contact people privately when there's drama and resort to vaguing on a public platform under the guise of "I hate conflict, I can't handle it", which is... idk. It makes it hard to rationally discuss issues and improve?

They're also one of those people that consider Avery from pokemon a "TRANS GAY NONBINARY ICON" or whatever. And they say they are kin with him so idk.

On top of all that, something that really confuses me is that if they hate conflict so much why do you draw so much attention to themselves?
I'm keeping this vague because i'm not 100% on if i should namedrop here. (i'm still rather new to this site.)

I was quite active in a community about this game where you are essentially able to make your OCs and dress them up by spending money. This also attracts many 5ever alone guys who spends thousands and also treats the 2d girls on their accounts like their girlfriends or wives.

There are two major groups in the community, one on Discord, and another on Amino. I was most active on the former and used to slightly contribute into the other. There was one pissbaby in particular that was obsessed with these anime girls, to the point of covering his entire room in pictures of them and buying a custom shirt with the girl's name (or picture) on it. He also has an "alternate universe" where the girls still fawn over him but are all shot back to middle-highschool age. This man is in his mid twenties (lol). He lurks in the discord and has occasionally come up during conversation. He egosearched his own name and when he saw us making fun of him, came storming in and demanded that we be punished for harrassment and bullying. The admin essentially told him that he's gay and to fuck off.

As a personal lolcow, she was known in transmed/truscum circles for trying to join a "binary trans" server while calling herself non-binary, and then making a callout post for it when she was denied entry (citing NBphobia I believe, it was a while ago and the post is lost to time), which resulted in everyone relentlessly mocking her.

She now appears to be one of the active mods at paraphilia-flags (archive) and only popped back up on my radar because the blog came under fire for making a rape kink pride flag (archive). Her old deviantArt page (archive) has become a hive of people keeping track of this chick and her movements on the internet ever since she the /leftypol/ incident where she was doxxed and presumably reported to the authorities (archive). She allegedly spent time in prison, but I can neither confirm nor deny that claim, as it was posted unsourced on her dA page. One of the highlights of her Reddit history include:

I've got a few from my sprint with Tumblr's 'kawaii' community a few years back but my favourite was an average, weebish girl I ended up striking up a convo with and following. Aside from the Japanese emotes and her addressing me with a senpai honorific, she was an ok gal, albeit a bit boring.Then one day she decided that she was now andro/demiboy/demigirl gendered, that everyone was only permitted to use chi/chiiself pronouns when referring to her and that talking in the first person wasn't 'kawaii' enough so she decided to communicate in the third. It's been about 2 years and she still types like that iirc, claiming that she can't stop because it was ingrained into her mind or something (although she also said that she can speak in the first person when she's REALLY angry lol) Last I saw of her she was raging with anons who dared to tell her that speaking in the third person is the most annoying thing ever and that she has the capacity to stop and she somehow took it as a transphobic attack.

I happened upon a cow on Tumblr recently who has been getting into slap fights with the Puella Magi Madoka Magica fandom while I was passing through the tags (apparently the English server of the mobile game is shutting down by the end of the month.)
She goes by strength-and-love, and through my searches I found that she's a lesbian from Canada and commonly goes by Lilith Fairen/LilFairenWrites (private Twitter handle Glints Saga) and prides herself as a writer of empowering magical girl stories, her magnum opus being "Glints Saga" featuring progressive lesbian magical girls.

She apparently has a hate boner for the series and others like it because she thinks they're misogynistic, edgy deconstructions that shit on the traditional ideals of the genre, which is apparently always supposed to be about and for empowering little girls, and not catering to sexist men who get off on the suffering of women. She also accuses the series of stealing ideas from PreCure (which she stans for) and other series and mocking people who disagree with her before blocking them. Also stalks the people who stalk her through her followers.
To the surprise of absolutely no one and the height of this hilarity to me, the real reason why she hates Madoka and other series like it is because she's jealous that no one pays attention to her original woke novel, so she has to shame others and shit on something they enjoy in order to get attention :

This person claims to be biracial because they're Slavic and Tatar, which is all good and fun but Tatars consider themselves European and white. All her biracial posts sort of baffle me.

So it turns out she's a racefaker (complete with [ethnicity]-themed SJ blog) "reclaiming" her distant "Tartar blood" by LARPing as Asian on the internet. According to her, she only recently found out about her Tatar/Islamic(????) heritage, but she still lectures actual Western Asians and ex-Muslims on Western Asian culture and Islam.

This is Nyemstä and she would like you to know that she is West Asian, as made obvious by her 5 mentions of it in her intro post, her 5 tags that are all some variation of "___ asian", and her URL, "Westasianz". She did not know she was West Asian growing up but was also bullied for being West Asian. Actual Asian people totally talk about their ethnicity like this. She is also West Asian.

Her tumblr header is not a real flag as far as I know. It's probably a made-up flag for Western Asia. It's definitely not the flag of Tatarstan, Siberian Tatars, Crimea, or of any other Tatar-dense area from what I can see.

Below, Nyemstä educates an ex-Muslim lesbian on Islam and instructs her to change her ethnicity if she disagrees.

The whole "OUR shared blood" and "OUR ancestors" sort of screams "I want you to see me as one of you". Also the whole "if you hate Islam and Muslims, then stop claiming [Tatar] ancestry" had me wondering if this whole blog was a troll. You can't "unclaim" ancestry but she doesn't see it that way because she made the choice to be reclaim Tatar heritage. Also worth noting that there are Christian Tatars.

How do you "grow out" of Asia features and "into" white ones? Her only mentioned "Asian" trait is "Chinese eyes".

My theory on this is that the co-existing SJW ideologies of "whites have no culture" and "your ethnicity is the most important thing about you" have caused white teenagers to want to latch onto the biracial label in any way they can, by either "reclaiming" an ethnic identity they aren't (often Native American, based on family stories a la Elizabeth Warren) or an ethnic identity they are distantly related to.

This girl's obsessed with her shiny new ethnic minority identity to a point where she's fetishizing it, which is exactly what she's accusing other people of doing. It's possible to realise that you are 50% Tatar without tattooing "West Asian" on your forehead, but this kind of reaction is what you get when there is a Tumblr culture of "minority status=clout".

Kind of similar issues to any sort of Munchausen's thread- accusing someone of faking illness is serious and can be hard to prove. Same thing with Ratkings- maybe some of them do have actual diagnosable GID. Regardless, both of these communities have threads because even if they do have a legitimate physical or mental illness, they're using it for personal or social gain, and they're fun to watch.

There's definitely a community of Tumblr users (who follow each other and interact with each other's posts) who have non-white ethnicity-themed blogs while admitting that

• They only have one non-white great or great-great grandparent, but identify exclusively as their great grandparent's race (despite the below)
• They appear 100% white (and claim to be white-passing) and were raised in white, Christian households
• They have no cultural ties to the non-white culture in question
• They -discovered- their ethnicity at some point, through hearsay, and made a blog about it
• Despite the above, they claim total authority over all [ethnicity]-related issues, and immediately become an expert on culture and religion (and attack all criticism of it, even if from people of that culture/religion)
• Typical bizarre SJW posts and personal conflicting or confusing anecdotes (i.e. posting about their childhood experiences as a [ethnic group] person, despite only learning their great grandmother was Turkish 10 minutes prior, fighting with ex-Muslims about islamophobia despite having been raised Christian, casual racism, obvious fetishization/"I am exotic, mysterious, or special due to being multiethnic" sentiment, etc)

which I would say is lolcow behavior, even if they really are 3% native/tatar/etc- any Native born and raised on a reservation would tell you that some 97% white person squawking at a Native American for calling themselves an Indian is exceptional.

Maybe the best way to go about it would be:

• Discouraging "is [ethnicity group] white" conversations- these kinds of people get off on the idea that they're special, mysterious, or exotic due to their ethnicity (which is racial fetishization and exoticism)- feeding them isn't productive
• Discouraging debating ethnicity specifics- even if they are the 3% Tatar 97% white person they claim to be, they're using a very low % of DNA shared with a group of people that they have no cultural ties to to boost their status in SJW spaces. The thread would have an emphasis of, even if these people were, say, the 3-10% [insert ethnicity here] that they claim to be, they're still thread-worthy and within this clique of ~rediscovering my heritage~ bloggers. People who claim to have a high % of heritage (25 and above) should probably be excluded, and they don't typically show up in this community anyways.
• Excluding people who LARP irl (ala Dolezal) or people who are admittedly 100% a race but identify as a different race to Racefakers general. This thread would be about racist SJWs who reclaim trace DNA/anecdotal heritage by making an ethnicity-themed blog on Tumblr.

Regardless, these people seem like a coherent group of lolcows. It could possibly be more of a "Ethnicity-Themed Sideblogs of Tumblr". I have a draft started- I'll try to get it into Proving Grounds once I find a few more people. OPs are hard so feel free to throw guidance/pointers/personal cows my way.

I definitely agree with you, but there's always gonna be some fucker with an ax to grind who will just use the farms as a way to get back at some person they're having a fight with.
