I love animals as much as the next guy on this forum, but these people are absolutely ridiculous in the things they do. For instance, I remember a while back PETA told Ben and Jerry's to make ice cream from breastmilk because its OH SO CRUEL to use cow's milk, and the company did the sensible thing and basically told them to fuck off. Also, they encouraged a boycott of Mario because the games "promoted cruelty to animals" in the form of the Tanooki Suit, which magically spawns from a leaf in the game, not shaven off a raccoon's back.

You can try reasoning with them that their beliefs and behaviors are laughable, but they don't listen to logic because they are a special breed of SJW focused on animals above people. What is your take on these people?

Peta's version of Pokemon makes me laugh because they miss the entire point of Pokemon: working together with your Pokemon via friendship and not cruelty is how you win. And Peta-Pokemon makes me cry because Peta taints one of my favorite video game series with their torture porn, attention whore propaganda. :x And this is coming from a former vegetarian who's still grossed out by the meat industry!

My friend says his teacher was a crazy animal rights chick and she thought it was animal abuse to put coats and sweaters on dogs even though dogs get cold and wet and need those things. She also thought zoos were cruel because apparently people go there to laugh at animals, while most people actually go there to admire them and watch them do animal things which are occasionally funny because some animals are hilariously silly.
