I didn't vote Greed (despite it being massively strong) because his greed is always subordinate to his gluttony. He doesn't hold back a single penny when it's time to consume. And despite some notable boondoggles like his $500 coffee machine, he really doesn't seem to have a taste for material finery. He's quite happy to wallow in his pigpen wearing rags. Money only brings him pleasure when it's burning and he's huffing the fumes.

Greed is a close second greatest sin Phil has.

Greed is the obvious choice I took, but I believe envy is the one that holds him back the most. His greed in a weird way makes him successful income wise.

I'm going envy, there is nobody who has an iota of success greater than him in his pigbrain that didn't get there straight up there was always a stipulation whether they clung to the flavor of the month (minecraft, fortnite) or they have some inherit vice such as Projared sexual....whatever the fuck you wanna call it.

His pride is there to allow him to exist without challenging himself, and his greed to support a slovenly and effortless lifestyle. He is not so prideful as to object to being greedy with humiliating gimmicks like the vest or dono reading, or so greedy as to develop a business strategy beyond this strange wage he's built for himself (even as other youtubers/streamers his size rake in 3 figures minimum), because these things would take effort.
Sure, when he was still more "internet person" than "internet phenomenon" in his own mind, greed and pride were larger facets of his character, but now they have been subsumed into his grand quest to not care- and there's zero indication he will ever, ever go back.
DSP is an idol of sloth.

It's not his biggest sin but it's the one that fuels all his others. Pride. He deserves to be greedy, he deserves to be gluttonous, he deserves to be slothful, because he's both the best and most honest human and the most persecuted for his success that is largely dependent on others. He's put in too much work already to do more to be successful like Ninja, so it must be Ninja's fault for Philip not getting the sponsors and money he deserves and it must be those stupid immature children who can't enjoy sophisticated mature content like his that is honest and meaningful. Pride all the way down to the core, that he is the best and most deserving.

I think Pride is just a thin façade. Someone with actual pride (especially in excess) wouldn't be wearing autism vests and begging 24/7 just because it makes them more money. Pride comes before the fall as someone said and this means you make less money because you're unwilling to debase yourself to make it.

I think Sloth and Greed are his biggest sins and it's why he'd rather choose to be a lazy socially parasitic slob that everybody thinks of as a living joke, just because it makes him a lot of money right now. Fuck Pride, gimme those tips so I can gorge on fast food and stay up all night getting drunk, gambling my money away.

The thin façade of Pride is what he uses to cope with the joke he's become. He pretends that he has this work ethic and a legacy, but in reality it's just an autism schedule and an Internet presence that has obliterated any chance of feeling legitimate Pride in himself.

Money = luxury living, food and gambling. He debases himself daily so he can engage in Sloth and Greed at the expense of everything else. Pride doesn't fuel it all, it's just his optics trick. "I'm a Mature Adult™ with a Wife™" as he blows bubbles and laughs about donkey turds or whatever. Wow such Pride. Meanwhile he's happy to have his hand held in video games because Sloth overrides Pride.

I'm not sure exactly what might've precipitated it but the worst thing he's ever done in my eyes is talk about Leanna's panic attack and subsequent hospitalization on stream just after they'd gotten back and she'd gone upstairs to rest.

Given that the date they actually split up is murky and it's a possibility the deal was already done at that point I'm going to chalk it up to Wrath and Phil being a worm of a man and a small-dicked spiteful bitch.

I believe greed is how he externally processes his sins, but at the core it's all fueled by SLOTH.

I voted greed but I think sloth is tied for 1st with greed and then gluttony being a close 3rd. If Phil could bilk his idiot fans, drink gin, and eat fresh Pan-Asian buffet food without ever leaving his bed then he totally would.

It's been a consistent trait from day 1. Even during the "milk and honey" days of YouTube he'd do some really lazy shit like leave shampoo bottles and other trash in his CT Condo. Pay two mortgages at a time. Not maintain his expensive car. Have months worth of kitty litter hoarded inside his condo. Etc.

The hyper-greed we've seen in the last ~year was never this bad. He'd be a scammer, sure, but the level of greed right now, late-May 2021 is undoubtedly at an all time high.

$10,000 cash in three weeks. Plus $1,300 in one day and still hungry for $400 a day? That is fucking insane. Like, show this to any non-initiated detractor and they'll call it insane. It's INSANE.

All the other sins are a consequence of Phil overestimating his fame, influence and charisma, thus slipping, not imagining the result would be mockery and hate directed against him.
