It's funny, Phil is 10 years younger then me, but in almost every way he IS half Baby Boomer half SJW Millenial. It's like he's skipped Generation X entirely on either side. Must be the turbo-autism. Fucked if I can find any other reason.

Actually that's a rather funny thing that Phil once again shares with Chris and a lot of other autistic lolcows. They tend to have a strong interest in wildly age inappropriate niches while displaying bizarre gaps in their knowledge of pop culture they should have grown up with. Chris was practically raised by television, yet he only knows aging sitcoms his parents would have watched and children's cartoons, with his anime sperging coming a bit late (and being pretty much entirely shaped by Toonami/Adult Swim). Same thing with Phil. His taste in music runs towards shitty boy bands that only 12 year old girls would like and he didn't get into anime until he started fetishizing yaoi in community college. And even though he's obsessed with Kylo Ren, his knowledge of Star Wars seems to be almost exclusively confined to the new movies, not even the prequels or Clone Wars.
Some of this - a lot of it actually - can probably be blamed on over protective parents. I'm sure Phil's mom was pretty restrictive and didnt want him getting overly excited by loud or violent music, movies or video games, so she probably heavily controlled what media little Phil was allowed to consume. That would explain why he obsessed over vanilla boy bands and why he still plays dress up with stuffed animals. Given how Phil turned out, she was probably right to try and keep him away from anything too edgy or exciting. I mean look at how he made Antifa, tattoos, bicycling, Communism, anime, LGBTQ, bondage and everything else an integral part of his identity. I'm sure if he had been able to he would have covered his body in Wiccan tattoos instead, or Transformers, Marvel Comics and G.I. Joe, or shitty 90s nu metal bands, or whatever else caught his attention. It's just he started to assert his new identity around the time lefty politics were popular.
The funny thing is, he does have the stereotypical "boomer" attitudes. You know, the ones kids are making fun of these days. He's quite racist and even classist, which is a bit ironic for someone who's essentially just a fat white tard mooching off welfare. But yeah he's very much of the sheltered suburban mindset. He's afraid of blacks and Mexicans. Again I'm sure his mom had some influence in this. Angelo seems pretty chill and even married a black lady (which might also factor into Phil's racism) so Phil is basically just living out a stereotype of how he thinks his parent's generation lived. I'm sure somewhere in his mind he thinks he will eventually settle down and live a suburban life even though he's long since fucked that possibility over.
At the same time, he also desperately wants to be a part of a youth culture he no longer can relate to and in truth never really understood anyway. Like yeah he was able to mooch off youth centres for a very long time by pretending to be a poor helpless trans youth who ran away from his homophobic family... but that only lasts for so long. Certainly not now that he's in his 30s, obese, smelly and covered in shitty tattoos. People don't have a lot of sympathy for that. I think this is why Phil wanted to go back to school. Not only was he much happier in community college but he also desperately wants to find a way to be around young people... or likely anyone at all.
This is exactly the outcome we've been saying would happen for Phil, if he didn't get a grip and start being less poisonous/more self-reliant.
It's sad in a way, because there are so many places Phil could have done things differently and the outcome would've been better for him. If he'd stayed in his volunteer job at the computer shop he might've made genuine friends (socialisation with normal people would've been good for him). If he'd kicked out the vodka goblin, or at least toned shit down so he could've kept his own housing. I still can't believe he was so stupid as to fuck up permanent housing after being homeless for so long...
But, this is the hallmark of a lolcow. Shit on every golden opportunity you're given, and blame everyone else when you end up alone, poor and unhappy. Phil is genuinely re.tarded, so maybe some of this isn't totally his fault, but still. Yet here he is, blaming everyone else but himself.
It's actually just 161=AFA, similar to 1312=ACAB. Still, it's amusing because putting a dollar in a machine, getting two candy bars, and taking both, is probably the worst crime most of these dingdongs have ever committed.
