Something that's pretty widespread and lulzworthy on tumblr: girls with poor knowledge of Photoshop and human anatomy destroying themselves with the Liquify tool for hugboxes and profit.

These are just some of the most famous. Their fans and anti-fans are potentially funnier though - you can find pages and pages of people arguing that their tumblr-based heroes could not possibly lie to them about their appearance, and that pointing out the editing is "body shaming" or something equally meaningless. You will find further pages and pages of people who devote entire blogs to anatomically analysing every single picture these girls take. It's such a clusterfuck that I kind of felt there had to be some sort of thread here for "snowflakes", "e-celebs" and the like - I think Dakota has been discussed on /cow/ before.

I used to be pretty active in that community back when Felice Fawn was still producing lolmilks, not so much these days. Ember and Mila's photoshop work is a lot more obvious than Felice's and I don't really think analysing their images is really necessary, I mean, it's obvious what's wrong with them

if these girls say this is all natural no makeup or anything, girls are gonna get really low self-esteem and develop body dysmorphia
and since so many tumblrettes seem to photoshop, this unhealthy cycle starts to spin ten times faster
I don't understand what kind of sick kick they could get out of making girls wanna starve themselves cause a fake image of themself, and yet if you call them out on encouraging that behavior, they use the excuse "women can take pictures of themselves any way they want!!1 stop objectifying women and slut shaming!!!1"

Again, I used to lurk on PULL when Felice Fawn was a thing.

Felice Fawn (powerword: Lauren Cook) was a wannabe model infamous for selling poor-quality hipster rags (her "fashion design") for ridiculous prices on Storenvy and the like. Every time her shop got closed down, another one sprang up. She ran one called "Ghostly Chic" for a while and did all the "modelling" whilst insisting they were some super cool indie brand that had contacted her to hire her as a model. Turns out she ran the shop all along (surprise, surprise) - somebody bought something off there and the return address matched Felice's dox, as did the site's IP. When she was caught doing things like this, she would have very public tantrums on Twitter (posting pictures of dead babies, etc) and then claim to have no memory of any of it a few hours later. The one time she had a legit contract with a London-based fashion magazine, she lost it because of one of these tantrums (leading to another tantrum). She still claimed to be a model for years after losing this job.
She was also infamous for looking different in every single picture she posted (like, completely different facial dimensions, magically losing and gaining 10lbs between photos taken only hours apart etc). When confronted about it, she would say "oh, I'm so flattered you think I look photoshopped~!" or something along those lines. She would also play sympathy cards to beg for expensive gifts (iPads, smartphones, donations, artist's pencils, makeup, designer shoes, bondage gear, booze and cocaine money). She once claimed to have a BMI of 12 (she was thin, but nowhere near BMI 12 thin) but vehemently denies being pro-ana, despite being very popular among "thinspo" communities across the whole internet. Eventually she had to leave tumblr as a lot of her fanbase tagged on to the fact that she was a manipulative scammer. As far as I know, she was recently (ish) kicked out of her friend's house where she was couch-surfing for turning the place into a dump of empty bottles and cat shit and has largely faded to obscurity, though I think she still uses Instagram.

If this was two years ago, I'd probably create a separate thread for Felice, but she's not as active anymore and reality has caught up to her a bit (last time I checked up on her she was 'shopping herself a bit less and was referring to herself as a "former model" rather than a "model".) Anyway, the pics this thread is for:

Felice is naturally quite pretty but for some reason feels the need to shoop herself into a bizarre alien doll thing. Her fanbase was always largely 12-16 year old girls who would reblog her photos with captions such as "ugh she's my ultimate thinspo", "im such a whale compared to her", "ultimate goal weight" etc etc. Really sad.

ahhhh hatin' on felice. the freelice community on tumblr has kinda died though as she more or less got the hint that it's hard to monetise your content when the internet never forgives your douchebaggery.

powerlevel revealed: i had lengthy treatment for disordered eating and not all my friends made it into recovery. i have a blazing loathing for people who post thinspo. especially people who post thinspo, deny it's thinspo, and then lie about being in recovery.

i have to say, i felt desperately sorry for kota when she did that japanese tv appearance. it was like watching a trainwreck in slow motion. it was so evident that being on tv would completely destroy the 'kotakoti' photoshop delusion, and yet she went on and just... sat there. she looked like someone being brought forcibly into contact with reality. and she grew up with kiki and their fucked-up mommy, so my unicorn still shits a bit of glitter for her. right up until the point i remember she's a racist.

some of these images remind me of something right out of a creepypasta. Entities that look human and yet there is something off. with the way these people are so shopped and exagerated, it almost reminds me of an alien who has the human shape down but doesn't get it right thus leading to the uncanny valley. These photoshop images are a great inspiration for one.
