there seems to be a trend recently regarding "safe spaces" from the "evil anti-sjws" on tumblr lately -- including inkstand and briar nexus, and all of them seem to be poorly-thought out tumblr clones for people who can't even handle tumblr, let alone the real world.
i dont think this will ever get off the ground. the crowd that would want this/want to program or fund something like this are tumblrtards who arent talented enough and too poor to crowdfund, which means in almost all cases with these new safe space websites, nothing ever happens and the site is never made.

The problem with them saying they want to ban hate speech, is that obviously Tumblr has radically different ideals of what hate speech is, as opposed to normal views on it.

So it'll be alright to say mean things about white people, proudly proclaim their 'heterophobia', and basically whatever they want, but don't draw a cartoon character a slightly lighter shade of their canon color, cause that's just clear hate speech.

In the vein of how Livejournal gives you form fields for how you're feeling and what song you're listening to, I almost want to suggest that Pillowfort include an actual entry field for trigger warnings, with or without a drop-down menu allowing you to choose from a list of the most common triggers ('white people'; 'fedoras'; 'diets'). Just to see how many easily-offended Tumblrinas would think it was a brilliant idea, and if they'd actually do it.

Oh, I was thinking of something along the lines of the Livejournal 'mood' field - a preset list of tags, which can be overwritten or added to if you feel the need to be a snowflake about it. Possibly with an optional picture of a sad ice cream or a cute little cat shaking and crying because someone mentioned pillows, to make it obvious exactly how triggered you are.
