Do you think it's time for Chris to bite the bullet and confront the gateway to Hell, meaning attempt to hang out with his real peers....Mentally Challenged adults age 18 to his current age?
They are the only people who may actually enjoy being around Chris (as in enjoy his company), have things in common with him, not judge him by too high a standard, commiserate with him, understand him, and may be (for the females) the only girls who would like him?
Male friends are also important to young boys, and I think part of his problem is, this was skipped over by CWC in his life.
It would end his loneliness, if only he could stop being a high and mighty snowflake and truly open his heart up to true friendship (honest GIVE and take and compassion).
He might even get a Sweetheart who thinks he's swell and they could put their disability checks together, (and with the help of a maid, CNA, or social worker), and make a nice home for themselves.
Hell, even some Down Syndrome people marry eachother and have kids and live a happy, fulfilling life!
An Autism support group for his age group would be perfect. It would be local, real people who actually will not think he's strange and probably have never heard of him (because of possible limited internet supervision). Not all Autistic people sit there are drool on themselves all day as he seems to think. Most of them accomplish alot more than he has!
I think it's his last chance. He's burned everything else and Barb won't be here much longer.....(I hope he's reading this)
