Let me just say that I am in awe of these people. Being triggered by Neil Degrasse Tyson and the show Rocket Power are possibly the two dumbest things I've heard people are triggered by.
Besides, who the hell cares about "triggers" anyway? It's just another way of saying you get offended easily so fuck off.
Planets don't have feelings. They are giant masses of different materials orbiting around a bigger thing made of different materials. Earth itself isn't interesting.
At least she explains some of them and there's some logic to it. Not that it makes them any better.
Wow! Thanks Captain Planet! Now I know the error of my ways!HEY NOW, BUDDY. Watch what you say there!
You know, every time you throw your trash on the ground, or neglect to cut the plastic loops for six-pack cans, or don't recycle, you are hurting Mother Earth; not just physically, but also her feelings.
We only have one home, so we have to take care of her!

For any who may have doubted me, let me reiterate that Neil is best waifuNeil Degrasse Tyson is one of her triggers? Well that's not nice. Neil is a really nice guy. I sent him a Valentines day card one year and he sent me an autograph back. What problem could she possibly have with him?
Tumblr has turned PTSD triggers into a fucking joke, turning it from "stimuli that causes flashbacks and high anxiety due to severe past trauma" to "something that makes me feel bad about myself."
People who're like, actually under treatment for PTSD learn things like this. Then again, people trying to get PTSD under control generally don't use it as a crutch to ham up sympathy points.
I'm being vaguely reminded of a post I saw circulating on Tumblr that people are so annoyed that war vets are the main face of PTSD. While I can feel that to a degree as PTSD can occur in those who have experienced significant trauma including but certainly not limited to war, I would rather have people who have seen and probably done some terrible shit being recognized as PTSD sufferers than these clownbag kids with anime and webcomics as triggers.
