I noticed all the people in the "DID" community are using the terminology "I'm disassociating" for anything that is mildly upsetting them. Have any of them have read the dictionary to learn what "disassociating" means? I'm pretty sure "disassociation" can be used in the context of depression, surreal experiences, drug trips, ect. All it means is the sensation of being detached from reality, which can happen and have nothing to do with DID.
They've created their own weird termanology for everything it's mind boggling. Thonk.

Did yall hear that the one "stormy" girl had a attempt and is now in critical condition? I feel so bad for her, she seemed nice, if anyone wants updates I can share what I know.

So what I know stormy is a 15 year old female and is in Canada with her grandparents she couldnt take all of the pressure said her goodbyes on a live stream. I personalty think it is sick for Alternative to still be attacking the poor thing. I heard that she tried to off herself right after Alternatives live stream.

Some years ago, someone I knew ended up in a relationship with one of these people who several months into dating, dropped the bomb that they were a "multiple system," on top of a lot of other shit, like being a "relationship anarchist" and having a bunch of other partners or whatever. Started referring to himself as the royal we, all that shit. Dropped a PDF in the friend circle's group chat containing "helpful rules" on how to interact with him from that point on, and flipped his shit when no one agreed to play along.

This "system" was a troon, too, and had a bunch of kids, like four or five or something. Often spent the money given to him for the purpose of spending it on his kids and groceries, instead buying shit for his best friend who was also a multiple system, of course. Apparently he'd buy like 5 presents for this other "system," one for each alter, and then be short for real shit.

My friend was one of those types who has such an open mind he sometimes lets his brain fall out, but it all finally came to a head at last when this fucking weirdo unleashed a torrent of abuse at him for asking him to go to therapy, or asking what he was doing to deal with this condition.
This fuckstick went on and on about how mental illness was beautiful and how it was oppressive to ask him to get help. Then he tried to blame the verbal abuse on an alter and had a bunch of arguments with himself on Facebook.

I read through this entire thread just now looking for traces of these specific people. No mention of the main idiot I've mentioned, but this moocher best friend character was called Tara. I don't know if it's the same one as mentioned earlier in the thread because I never met Tara in person.
Still looking through backlogs to find the PDF that was dropped, but it was a long time ago now, and I'm pretty sure the main idiot has deleted Facebook. I recognise some of the URLs earlier as things he also linked, though.

Looked back in on popular DID person, Thought House. I don't know why I find her to be such a special brand of insufferable. I think it's the offensively attention-seeking trifecta of DID, able-bodied person insisting they need a wheelchair and service dog, and filming every single break down. Often with different camera angles. She also constantly has these videos about her friend that died very young. Which is tragic, don't get me wrong. But the number of videos she has dramatically crying over it with text and sad music or mouthing along sadly to Bojack Horseman quotes about death is so exploitative.

Her videos are nonstop sadfishing, terrible memes, and opening gifts from fans. She lives a very tragic life.

Also, Tom Holland is canceled. Which:

1. Most mental illnesses are demonized in the media.
2. She does look a bit scary. I would cross the street to avoid a pink haired woman pacing around her wheelchair, sobbing over her favorite, overpriced white girl crystal.
3. Something about the implication that people with DID are "traumatized children" really creeps me out. I don't care if you think your brain is composed of fifteen age-sliding "llittles" in a tench coat, you're still a fucking adult.

Apparently anything involving child sacrifice connects back to Jewish blood libel nowadays. Doesn't matter what religion or race the accused is, it's just deeply repressed fear that Jewish people are eating your children. Of course, the original "child sacrifice" cults were the Moloch/Baal cults in biblical times, which were in direct competition/conflict with the biblical Jews, and those cults have a much more direct connection to modern Satanist imagery than any Jewish conspiracy theories.

It's ridiculous, but I've seen people call out any kind of fictionalized blood magic/sacrifice as antisemitic, which is just a self-own as its a pretty universal source of horror in many cultures.

You clearly have some kind of vested interest in defending plurals for whatever reason, but the fact of the matter is that there is no substantial scientific evidence whatsoever to suggest that LARPing as Steven Universe is a legitimate mental illness, unless we're talking about severe untreated autism. If you would have actually read the thread, you would have seen that I even clarified that I do believe DID is a legitimate disorder.

But you're starting to sound like every other furry or munchie or TERF (just to name a few) who comes onto this site, thinking that they're the exception to their community's insanity and that they're going to prove to everyone that not all people in that community are massively autistic. I’ve spent hours reading this thread from the beginning and the only place I keep finding myself disagreeing is the bizarre assumption that being autistic is what causes this absolute insanity. I believe in DiD however I don’t believe that the “severity” of someone’s autism even though it’s not really measured like that has actually anything to do with it. Though that shouldn’t be taken as me disputing that autism may make you more susceptible to this shit it’s deffo not the driving force and I think half of them label themselves as autistic bc they have a bit of social anxiety and they like to collect the labels.
