Random system-related cringe found earlier - "queergenic" systems (archive), "a term used to describe a system that has headmates that have taken the form of an LGBTQ+ identity. For example, there may be a headmate that is the personified version of catgender, or a headmate that is made to act how an individual would imagine pansexual acting if the sexuality were a person." Etymologically, the word means "[a system] produced by queerness," the -genic suffix evoking the "debate" among fake DID-havers over "traumagenic" vs "endogenic" systems. Guess queergenic is an alternative for those LARPers who really don't give a shit.

bit of a sidebar, but I discovered this while doing an excursion in the LGBTA Wiki (a personal hobby). A user named "cryptocrew" (arch) describes themselves as a queergenic system on their profile. They also apparently created the term "gonadal euphoria" (arch), "the opposite of gonadal sofrimento and is the comfort or joy experienced when one imagines themself with their preffered gonads." Fucking godspeed you incredible deviant.

Literally I have no clue how they don't notice how nuts it is. Notice this person has the double hashtags which apparently indicate that they're psychotic.
I once met a person in one of these plural type spaces where they had Autism and other bits of mental health problems that seemed to deal with delusions. They genuinely believe that their system was somewhat spiritual to a degree and not trauma induced which they once actually questioned if it was "traumagenic" In their system they had an alter who was constantly fronting who was literally Soldier from TF2 and some guy named Merasmus from TF2. I remember they once even claimed that they genuinely believed that they were the only real Soldier when commenting on other Soldier alters in different systems. It was extremely bizarre. The entire community this was taking place in seemed to believe that fictional characters have souls. I remember the same person explaining in detail about how literally god awful their childhood was and they once showed pictures of their living situation which seemed to be terrible as well. It was mind numbingly painful to see them question if their problems were caused from trauma or not despite it seemingly being obvious that they were. This space I was in was filled with people who seemed to just reinforce their delusions and their own personal delusions instead of getting help for themselves or others.
These kinds of people are dangerous and self serving. They're the worst type of people because they don't realize the amount of damage they do to themselves and others. And just when they're kinda close to figuring out they need serious help they just fall down another spiral of delusions and some extreme RPing.

I've been deep in the trenches of DID discord and I'm confident that the majority of these people know exactly who they are and what they're doing. There might be some genuinely delusional people like this but they're few and far between.

This thread is a trip. I suppose what gets to me the most is the fact that most of this bullshit is just an extension of completely normal things. Like identifying with a fictional character and feeling connected to them. Or feeling like there are different aspects of your personality that come out in different times depending on your surrounds. But none of them just... do that.

Wouldn't that mean that playing video games was a grave moral evil, since in many cases you are maiming and killing the same character (with a soul!) again and again as you played? Did they ever make that leap?

I know one, and I can't remember if I brought them up in this thread before or not for some reason.
They joined like a small online community I've been in for some time a year or two ago and people specifically set up those "pluralkit" modification kinda things for them. Nobody else uses that function. It's genuinely fucking depressing because like aside from the weird rp bullshit they seem to be a genuinely nice person with some serious family issues that's been pulled into or started doing the plural shit as a way to deal with that shit. They occasionally go on about how "oh this is the only community that accepts our plurality!" but like nobody treats them as several different people or identities because it's so transparently the same person talking with 0 change in personality or way of typing. Sometimes I wish I could like actually tell them they don't need to be like this but with how this fucking plurality clique pushes people to act I know they'd probably drop all prior friendly attitudes and go full on deep into that fucking clout-politics brained plural bullshit and cut me off while trying to make me seem like a monster. If they knew I browse this site they'd do the same too given they're deep in the "kiwifarms is murderers!" mindset. Shit hurts.
I genuinely hate how we're in a time like this where vulnerable people just get their brains pumped full of this shit and are actively encouraged to throw people under the bus for the smallest of disagreements about shit. It's funny when it's standard internet attention whore tumblrite camgirl bullshit but when it's people like this that get somehow into the same behavioral patterns to distract themselves from how fucked their life is it's genuinely fucking sad and it hurts like hell.

I missed this and already posted shit based on current page shit but I gotta comment on this because shit's way too funny for me.
They listed count bleck/blumiere and tippi/timpani twice under their 2 different names used in the fucking game and are treating them like the aliases are completely separate characters. The fact the characters are supposed to be lovers torn apart by fate and family birthright shit and this person is apparently not only both of them but also their aliases which are "TOTALLY DIFFERENT CAUSE BLECK IS CRAZY AND BLUMIERE IS DEPRESSED!" Fucking made me lose my shit and almost spit my drink out when i was browsing the pages just now.
