PMD-KIWI (The Mock PMD-E -

[Bugaboo]

For those of you following the PK thread in the Tumblr subforum we've been talking about creating a parody of a role play group Purple Kelceon made that was a cool idea, but run like Nazi Germany from what I understand.
I can't explain it very well, if someone could write up a jist of what this is and a short rule list I'll post it on this OP post.
Anyway, here is my self insert guide leader: Leader of the Nerds (All the leaders have to be self inserts)

I guess I'll post my still-uncolored team and come up with backstories for them. Pardon me while I sperg.

TEAM COOL GUYS!

Spoiler: LOTS OF GAY NERD SHIT

Narf: male Meowth, naive nature, scatters things often. Slightly rectangular amulet on his head. Wears a red bandana with a cartoon Meowth on it. Used to belong to a crazy cat Pokemon lady who insisted on bathing with her Pokemon. His escape from her smelly hoard was aided by Jacuzzi Bubbles the Mudkip, and he developed a crush on her and looks up to her as his hero. He is also a giant pushover and can be very gullible. He likes to collect a lot of shiny objects and store them away in different hiding spots around the region. His name is a bastardized pronunciation of "Nyarth."

Jacuzzi Bubbles: female Mudkip, brave nature, strong willed. Wears purple goggles. Released in the wild by a breeder hoping for a shiny, Jacuzzi Bubbles struck out on her own, befriending human and Pokemon alike, but resisting capture. Jacuzzi got her name when she provided the jets for a broken jacuzzi on her first adventure and liked it so much she kept it. Likes helping people and Pokemon and wants to "walk the earth" looking for those in need. Restless. Doesn't understand why Narf doesn't like water.

Goodboy: male Herdier, gentle nature, good perseverance. Leucistic coloration, basically all white with normal-colored nose, eyes and paw pads. Wears a spiked collar. The offspring of two shiny Stoutlands, Goodboy has a pedigree most other Pokemon don't. He was sold to a rich old lady, who originally named him Sir Scruffleworthington III, but he didn't remember that name and assumed his name was Goodboy. He was whisked away from his master when some members of Team Plasma kidnapped him and attempted to use him as an example of breeding gone wrong and why Pokemon training should be outlawed. They yelled at him and threw rocks and mudballs at him in order to make him more skittish around humans. He was rescued by Narf and Jacuzzi Bubbles, and he felt he owed them a life debt. When they escorted him back to his home, they found it empty, with a For Sale sign posted out front. His owner was gone. Jacuzzi Bubbles promised Goodboy she would help re-unite him with his master, and until then, he could help them help people.

Bitsy: female Joltik, rash nature, quick tempered. Shiny. Bitsy had travelled with her 350 brothers and sisters across Unova, causing power outages, black-outs and brown-outs. Bitsy was perfectly happy wrecking havoc on cities and towns with her family before Narf, Jacuzzi Bubbles and Goodboy caught them trying to gnaw through the base of a telephone pole. Team Cool Guys managed to beat back the wave of Joltiks and Gavantulas, and Bitsy, being shiny, was unfortunate enough to be scooped up Narf. Jacuzzi Bubbles then interrogated Bitsy, demanding to know why she and her brood were doing this. Bitsy just replied "because it's funny." Jacuzzi, not about to be smart-mouthed by a weird little electric bug, decided that Bitsy needed to be reformed, and told her that she could either travel with them aiding those in need, or she would be turned in to the nearest Officer Jenny and sent to Pokemon Jail. Not realizing Pokemon Jail wasn't a thing that actually existed, the cowardly Bitsy begrudgingly agreed. While she is technically a part of Team Cool Guys, Bitsy makes her displeasure at her predicament well-known, complaining loudly and generally being a brat and picking on Narf. Goodboy is the only one that seems capable of keeping her in line.

It's TL;DR but I am a sucker for world building stuff. I probably should have just gone with a Yawning Squirtle and Boulder-Dropping Wailord but I wanted to make Meowthkip's parents.

Because Meowthkip is a Sonichu OC, this means Sonichu is canon in this universe. I have decreed this as a Supervisor.

I have no art skills, but I think the idea sounds cool and I love PMD. So have some random OCs to flesh things out, at the very least.

Asher ("Ash") - Male Absol, Adamant Nature, Somewhat stubborn. Overall, he's the sort who pretends he doesn't care about things even though he does. He wants to be a hero and rescue people, but his cynical nature and tendency to snark at people makes him seem cold-hearted. Tends to be emo about the fact that, as a supposed omen of disaster, most people don't want to be around him too much. He enjoys teasing Inari. Despite being the older of the two, he usually allows her to take the lead.

Inari ("Nari") - Female Fennekin, Sassy Nature, Mischievous. She likes to think of herself as being very cunning and good at manipulating people, but she's actually rather sensitive and gets riled up easily. She's naturally studious and a quick learner, but she also gets bored if insufficiently challenged. She desperately wants to impress Asher, but her more tsundere tendencies occasionally interfere. Typically acts as the group's "face," unless they need to be intimidating for some reason.

I don't really have any accessories planned for either of them - maybe ribbons for Inari? They typically call each other by their nicknames when they're not trying to come off as official.

Oh gosh, I'm a bit of a sucker for world building stuff and PMD, so I'll certainly doodle up something for this when I get the free time.

Assuming that it's set in the PMD universe, you should probably have at least two members for your rescue team. I don't remember any single-person rescue teams, but it would probably be okay to have one.

On the other hand, @Meowthkip said it was set in the CWCverse, so then you can probably do whatever you want for your rescue team.

It doesn't seem fair to make someone else do the work for me.

Two Members are A Gardevoir named Gardenia, and a Lopunny named, Lopside

Name: Gardenia
Species: Gardevoir
Gender: Female
Abilities:
Poke Ability: Telepathy
Moonblast
Psychic
Draining Kiss
Heal Pulse

Appearance:
She is your average Gardevoir. However she wears a large Oversize Pink Bow around her neck. The Gardevoirs usually red eyes are Unnaturally Purple, giving her an almost deviant gaze.
Personality:
While she is kind to her friends and Family, Those whom she would deem Enemies or Unaquainted Strangers get a very Icy glare and little to no speech from her. When she must speak around these kind of people she is cold and calculated. However, out of these situations she's usually rather bubbly and Fun. She also has a massive sweet Tooth.

Backstory:
Growing up in a world full of danger, and really unhappy pokemon, and that one weird.. Pikachu... thing, Can be tough. And those who aren't tough, obviously aren't good enough to protect themselves. Being a Ralts, she was weak and powerless to defend herself. She, along with her Buneary friend, Decided they would train hard and some day become strong enough to protect others. Fast foreward several years, The two best friends are now fully grown, and easily able to take on those foes whom would come against them. World Renowned for both their beauty, style and Strength They are the Perfect team.

Also they are Pokemon idols because why not.

Appearance:
Lopside is a shiny Lopunny. Her furry ear's fluff is a soft pink, while her overall brown coat is a tinge darker than that of others. Around her neck rests a similar pink bow as Gardenia's However on the front there is a large bell for no real reason. It is In fact a Soothe Bell.
Personality:
Like Gardenia she is quite kind and happy around her friends, and strangers as well and.. well just about anyone, save those they consider enemies. A natural Flirt and Tease, Lopside likes to poke fun at people, perhaps Taunt them abit to get them all riled up and ready for battle. She likes to pick fights, but only so she can make friends with similar interests to her.


Also she totally has a thing for Big tough Burly Pokemon. Especially when she knows she can beat them up.

Backstory:
She grew up alongside her best friend Gardenia. She was always tired of being made fun of because of her small demeanor and adorable features. So when she and Gardenia made the pact to become the best Rescue team in the world, She toughened up. While Gardenia Trained her mind, Lopside trained her body. Because of this training her Body is like a rock. A big fluffy Rock. That punches and Kicks Really freakin hard.

So yeah First Contribution. It was thrown together in a rush, but I'm sure I could do better if I had more time for it. I don't feel confident enough to try and draw them and have them not be anthro as fuck, so if anyone is up for that Challenge I salute you.

Team Boof! (I’m not creative and just named them after the sound big dogs make)
This team isn’t too into the being tough or rowdy, but more-so moral support and helpful—think of them as therapy dogs of sorts!

Bones the male Poochyena:

Quiet nature, capable of taking hits.

Ability: Quick Feet

Move set: Bite, howl, dig, dark pulse

An easy going and gentle soul, Bones doesn’t quite like handling social situations, but will be there to listen and ease anyone in need to the best of his ability with reassurance and soft comfort. His unusual bobtail and floppy ear is due to being bred from a line of designer show poochyena, but his traits weren’t quite what his owner was looking for, thus he had been released for a more coveted appearance. Heartbroken, Bones had wondered aimlessly, feeling quite foolish for his odd appearance. It was then when he had happened across Mimir the light coloured arcanine, who took him under her wing and comforted him. Both having quite unusual looks, they bonded quite well and the two decided to team up to form Team Boof.

Mimir the female Arcanine:

Brave nature, thoroughly cunning.

Ability: Flash Fire

Move set: Flamethrower, crunch, will-o-wisp, extreme speed

Mimir has a motherly spirit. She is always looking out for others and putting them before herself and doing what she can to be of help. Despite seeming as sweet as can be, she will not hesitate to stick up for those she cares about by any means necessary, even if that is by turning the offender into a toasted marshmallow. Mimir had a life of comfort, living with her mother and two older sisters. Her sisters were much more hot tempered than her and often poked fun at her light coloured pelt, thinking that it looked pretty ridiculous for a growlithe. Of course, she was a bit uncomfortable, being that she was not an normal coloured growlithe, nor was she a shiny. She was just weird. It wasn’t long until Mimir had evolved into an arcanine and ventured off and took up the task of caring for others in need, as her mother raised her. She later met Bones and took care of the disheartened poochyena. The two became close friends and decided to form Team Boof together to help others in need of help.
