At the time of recording, it was 2-2-1(with the late Cloucat vote only making it a three way tie not 2). So I asked my wife to be the tie breaker and she chose Reptyke. As with all things in my life, blame her. He's named Godzirra. Blue Lizard with a fin tail? Water something right? NOPE. Pure Fighting type.
With this being Singles Island I guess its Dubs, Trips, etc for them.

An old man in town gives us a Pokemon move and instructs us to use it as contraception. I don't know if he's senile, if it's for Pokemon you are fucking, or how these things work in the Pokemon world, but I will do my damnedest to find out with Kymmi.

Before heading out we catch a Floconut, ThreeHoles and a Vandash, Realer Nig(I'm hoping later to find and catch a RealestNig to complete the trifecta)
It was mentioned earlier in the game that Vandashes could learn all HM moves.
Because they are HM Slaves...
We put him to his intended purpose.
On the way to the Marina there is a very short Route that only has one new Pokemon for us, Humpunny called Incest.
Since we don't have two new Pokemon, I participate in the Wonder Slave Trade Market.
A monkey for a monkey, seems fitting.
Godzirra evolves into a Rasclobber and becomes Fighting/Dragon Type.
And kink.com into Anaconduke.
We return to Triport City only to discover the Ruse Cruise has left with out us. NEWFAG is limited to 4 party members due to the two massive blue balls this causes him.
Well, with NEWFAG escaping the pain, all that's left is to tackle the gym here in Triport City. Surely that can't be any worse, can it?

Our Team going in. It seems as if the gym sign has been tagged with nibberish, probably from some escaped Vandashes. I can never make out their gang signs.
Inside is a cluster fuck. Look at this terrible coding. Still better than the original Electric Gym. The switches on the floor turn some walls off and some walls on, usually just a flip of what was and wasn't on, but not always as in the case of this poor bastard.
The trainers aren't much to write home about...

To get in we have to imput the Konami Code. The imput coding is really shit, it prompts you to imput it and the first button you press is imputed as the start of the code. I keep reflexively hitting A to move past the prompt to the imput screen to only have started the code off with an A. After retrying I think it can't accept the prompts at a high speed that my muscle memory processes, because it would keep rejecting it right at the end. I almost had to look up and see if I forgot the fucking Konami code, but I first entered it very slowly and made it through.
He opens up with a Hidden ability(I think) of Anonymouse that sets up Electric Terrain. This could be annoying.
After a solid Mud Shot from Goodboi, Guy swaps out to Ribbizap, but we match it with a switch to K Fire.
Guy doesn't like the matching against K Fire and switches to Mooshock, we do the same and send out Sanddevil to match his highest level Pokemon Mooshock.
It's a slow grind, but fortunately Guy doesn't have any Ice moves to completely wreck my Ground types.
Sanddevil takes a risk with Bulldoze's 95 accuracy and wins out against Mooshock.
K Fire and Ribbizap finish their fight.
Meat Cream tries his hand Anonymouse and takes care of him.
His last pokemon is a very low level Pikotton, who doesn't withstand a single blow.

So, yeah, the wipe happened. I went into this prepared for a more normal Pokemon battle, and got my ass handed to me. Ribbizap had Ice Beam that destroyed Sanddevil and Jack, and the Electic Terrain from Anonymouse made it so that Shock wave wrecked my Normal types with Ground moves. I tried leveling up an entire new team to give it another run but with out ground types I didn't have a chance.
So instead, and my plan here on out, is to do a 2-3 VR practice runs on Gym Leaders to learn to what to prepare for like I'd know more innately in a mainline Pokemon game, then have an official run. I actually lost Pokemon in my practice runs, but in the one I screenshotted I did it with out fatality. Though I still decided to count the first wipe as canon, despite using some of them in my second run.

this happens to me a lot, because for some reason every time I have to put the Konami code on something I always type in: DOWN, DOWN, UP...etc instead of UP,UP,DOWN...etc don't know why.

just kidding, I actually fully support your desicion, I would have rage quitted Reborn a long time ago if I was playing a Nuzlocke, and Clover can be fairly difficult too, so I think doing a test run is okay, especially since you are nuzlocking a game that has been designed to screw over Nuzlockers as much as possible
I cannot wait for the Rock Tunnel. Or, for that matter, Victory Road.

Last three episodes I forgot to include music examples. These episode have been updated, but it wasn't a lot of songs. One each that I put near the top if you wanna back track.
I started by doing a massive backtrack to the starting town and checking everything having Cut now unlocked. Planned on making it into a mini episode, but it was actually a massive waste of time.

But we are stopped from going the old way to the Rock Tunnel Route by a shrubbery.
We get the Rest TM from this guy Vitlya City. Not sure if he's a guy we hunt down or just disappears. We'll keep an eye out.
We check in on Stump, but he just rambles about being a gofer bitch for James of Team Rocket.
All he has to say about NEWFAG's Pokedex progress.
Not blocked by a Cut-tree, but collecting berries as I went, I accidentally discovered I can go behind the Daycare and into the Pokemon areas. All there is are a Lucky Egg and a bunch of Blobbos with unique responses.
So with that out of the way, we continue up north along Route 7, past the previously road blocks of tree. Clover has a nice time saver where HM moves happen automatically with out prompt, and most(but definitely not all) of the cut down trees stay cut down.
I swear this could be called Pokemon Sexpest.

We are able to sneak around and make it to a Hidden Grotto before encountering our first catchable Pokemon! But it just has another Flameboyan in it, so we can't catch it.
Instead we get the pre-evo of Guy's signiture Pokemon, Moostatic. I simply name it Lolcow. And the Bacub is named AntiAchmed. As a Normal/Fire type he's low on the list of making it to the team. Maybe when we get around to the Grass gym.

We find a Route Master on Route 7 that requires us to defeat every trainer on the Route to Fight. Off the top of my head I wanna say that is an X/Y trope. I'm a little skittish after the Guy wipe. The Clover Wiki went down a couple months ago, and I've had a bunch of pastebins with trainer details. However it's ugly and a minor inconvenience to search through so I've been playing this quasi-blind. However, this guy is based around sturdy effects and doesn't let me use items, so we head back to the Battle Club and grind out some levels.
Pretty solid original fight song.
Thought I took more screenshots of this fight, but Florigrace was the MPV here, Water/Grass is a nice typing and he's kinda tanky.
Groovy unique victory music for the Route Masters too.
I'm not looking forward to how we clear these stand ins for sleeping Snorlax. I'm expecting Nick Bates to give us a hand by eating it.

Keksandra's highest level Pokemon is 29, and I have some 30s in here, but I don't want to grind out any more levels to replace them with just a level lower. Besides, it's just Keksandra.
Flowre is a Dark/Fighting type, not Grass, but Coofer's Sp Def lowering Acid Spray still handles him pretty easily.
PBJ gets wrecked by a Headbutt, when we switch to RealNigga Keksandra switches to Dubus.
RealNigga's gets his homies in to wreck Dubus' shit.
Memenace is living up to it's nomenclature.
I, uh, don't know why I thought another Beat Up would finish him off.
Pour one out for RealNigga, his shiny nature caused him to burn out the quickest.
Tendies switches in to a CRIT! Barely hangs on to her life and is a real Champ here for not turning this into a rout. Not only that, her Rough Skin ability finishes ends the Memenace to my team.(I really wish I had Godzirra for this fight, but he was one of the lvl 31s)
We keep Tendies in and heal her up, while Analgae abrades himself on her skin, then wipe him out with Wing Attack.

This trainer ambushes us as soon as we enter the Rock Tunnel with only one Pokemon.
This is the Pokemon that was brought up at the start of the LP. Motherfuck has 95 attack(~143 with a Choice Band this one does have), Shadow Tag ability(meaning I can't switch out, or Run Away from wild ones), and the only attack they have is Explosion(250 Power). It's designed to be a murder machine. Now, I could use a Steel/Rock type, Ghost type, or Protect/Detect to get around it, but screw that. As I called at the start, I'm just ignoring KOs from these guys.
As if you can't tell by the design, they are combo of common trash in multiple Generations that clog your random encounters; Zubat, Graveller, and Tentacool.

New route, new pokemon! We get a Smogaroben, named Tryhard. Hopefully no Vandashes decide to OD on fentanyl around our Piguson, cause I name him Chauvin.
Parax Town is the Lavendar Town equivalent. I legit love the original Lavendar Town theme so let's see what we have to compare...

Parax town is a ton of fun. Some of the mechanical aspects (you'll know when you get to them) are somewhat frustrating, but the shitposting is pretty on point.
