How long till we find out dante is really the son of squad zero leader or some silly plot twist like that as one should expect in pokemon fan games.

Probably a couple more gyms. He seems to be the type to say "Fuck you, daddy! I'm going to be a GOOD GUY!" That line he has about "Oh, maybe we'll run into Squad Zero after you finish this area *wink wink*." more or less gave it away that he's connected to Squad Zero, at least tangentially. I swear, Daybreak's foreshadowing is about as subtle as a jackhammer. At this point it's something you expect in the fan games, though and at least Dante isn't a mass murderer with a legion of simps like Taka...that we know of.

A jackhammer is more subtle then this. This is around team rocket levels of subtle when they start doing the motto.

That shadow effect is really cool, but the lady not haiving a shadow while Sped does looks weird, maybe the lady is not real and Sped was too busy sperging to notice

Maybe this is the pokemon version of a vampire. Replace not having a mirror image, with shadow.
