It's really fun to look through Music I love or a music thing that fits and finally find a perfect name for a Pokemon I love. I remembered a few more of them today, its been a long time since I looked at my boxes since I got burnt out on XY after like 595 in game hours of breeding and online battling.

I always name my totodile Godzilla, since I've been a fan of the Godzilla series for as long as I can remember. It's my favourite starter and Feraligatr is my favourite pokemon.

I always give my Pokemon theme names, and I try to choose different themes for each game. I've done flowers a couple times (Pearl and I think Black2?), gemstones in HeartGold, I think vegetables or spices or something in SoulSilver, stars in X, desserts/pastries in Black, and Crayola crayon colors in White. Not sure what theme I'll be going with for ORAS, maybe gemstones again since it's Ruby/Sapphire after all.

The Crayola theme was probably the most fun (I had a Galvantula named LaserLemon, I loved that name), but I think my favorite theme to fall back on is flowers, especially if I'm playing a game in Japanese (it's easier to play around with flower species names to get a larger selection that both fit in the character limit and sound pretty). The one time I went to VGC regionals I took a team named after flowers, despite the temptation to keep the Crayola theme for giggles.
