There's nothing moving in it, everything is static, a trailer/teaser of that nature is the perfect way to make a fake.
valve wouldn't make a trailer/reveal of this nature. they are usually excited to show everyone how good they can do their sfm's, they wouldn't waste it on this bitch ass bullshit.

You know, Valve may have restarted the production to fuck with Epic. The consumer base is riled up, everyone fucking hates Epic except 12 year olds who spend all day on Fortnite. If it were my business, and I had the resources Valve does, it's what I'd do. Strike the iron while it's hot. Could be fake, probably is tbh, bu it would still be awesome to see Valve swoop in with a sequel to one of their greatest games, especially when the resulting kick to the nuts would get us a few more entertaining sperg outs from Sweeny on Twitter.

Also how to tell if something is fake is to go to unity or unreal asset store and look up to see just how much is pre-made assets. Like that car for instance I would look to see if that was a paid asset.
Deinitely fake. Something about it looks a bit too cartoonish, the part with the blueprints especially. At least to me personally.

That's the scary part. You target the dumbass kids who don't care and by the time the next generation (of humans) rolls around it's as if things have always been like that. When DLC and microtransactions first became a thing I boycotted them because back in the old days you'd unlock costumes and super weapons by completing challenges instead of paying and that instead of buying new shit we'd get stuff that was carved out of the main game and sold back to us. The fact that I refuse to buy that shit doesn't matter because the kids that came after me never played those old games and didn't know any better.
As far as this teaser goes everything online is fake until proven otherwise. With that being said I don't see why someone would be arsed to create a fake teaser for the new Left 4 Dead. Is it really that in demand? Seems like way too much effort to go through for so little reward.
I seriously doubt it's legit, plus valve is too busy milking their multiplayer games dry with microtransactions.
