Kind of makes you wonder why these migrants aren't using a boat or something.

The only boats these sorts of smart, culturally enriching people can comprehend using for their migration are the types that cost $10,000 USD per head and are barely seaworthy. Actually that reminds me of some footage from my country. It doesn't actually show any deaths close-up mind you, but 50 people died.

Unoriginal post but it seriously baffles me how non-Western countries treat grievous injury and death, its like they have zero instinct toward helping others. Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe 90% of the human race just doesn't give a shit when someone brutally dies next to them...

I know this is 'videos of people dying' and not 'videos of dead people' but I found this to be very interesting, mostly because it's allowed on Youtube, there's lots of it and he has hundreds of thousands of subscribers:

Apparently this guy is considered a hero for many for retrieving the corpses of drowning victims in India... nevermind the fact that he posts the videos of their bloated bodies on YouTube for all to see.
Someone was talking about how non-Western countries don't seem to show as much reverence to death, and this is a prime example of this, if a family member of mine drowned and this guy posted video of their corpse I would be extremely outraged, but apparently respect for the dead is not a thing in India.

lol there's so much to say about this shit you could write an essay on it.

1. As you mentioned the dude is doing this for profit and posting dead bodies online
2. The dude doing this is apparently the only dude in the country actually recovering bodies from rivers...
3. In the first video, everyone in the area is just kind of sitting around where there's a dead body like it's just another Tuesday
4. People will just keep dumping random shit in the river next to your dead body without a care in India
5. It's so normal to find bodies in Indian rivers, you can find multiple at a time pretty often apparently
6. You can literally make a career out of pulling bodies from Indian rivers and posting it on Jewtube...
7. Even ignoring the fact that police aren't recovering the bodies, and investigating causes of death like in first world countries, no one from the government period is recovering the bodies. For context, even in medieval Europe, you had people called "knackers" that did this professionally...

I'd say that these are mostly drownings and not a Padmaj Bateman running around in India because even the dude who sees firsthand how dangerous the rivers there are on a regular basis takes absolutely zero safety precautions when recovering the bodies. 10. You know there's a lot more bodies in the river than this because quite often bodies get stuck on the river beds, and that's why most western countries have professional dive teams for recovery operations, so this is only scratching the surface...
