I liked Fistful of Frags for a long time, but I just don't like where the development cycle has taken the game. Ever since the Steam release, the developer cut a lot of the different game modes and maps to make FoF more streamlined and polished, but I think a lot of the charm was in the more unconventional modes and inventive maps even if they were much rougher and unpolished. Now all that's left is servers running the vanilla deathmatch-style modes or gun game variants, and it feels stale and not as fun as it once was, especially when the remaining playerbase has such a high level of skill and there is little room for error.
