I don't get why anybody really cares about Len. I mean, what exactly is the big deal? Sure, he's entertaining at times, but I don't really see why some people appear to hold him up as the Second Coming of 2010-era Chris. He's just an incredibly derpy railfan, nothing more and nothing less.

I liked the Len thread at first but IMO Kirby really ruined it. It was great when it was IRL stories about Len, and still is whenever they get posted. I even thought the fake doxxing was funny at first because Len is just so goddamn stupid. But almost the whole thread became about that and the only good stuff anymore is the trial stuff.
My reason for keeping the thread open is incredibly petty but I'll say it anyway. I don't want Len to feel like he's won. Have we really found a lolcow so crazy and so autistic that he wears out every single person who has ever engaged with him? He has been pulling this shit for years and years and now he's too much for even the farms? When the thread first appeared, some of the folks who have dealt with his bullshit over the years said they were glad to finally see him taken to task. I feel like locking the thread is giving up, giving in, giving him exactly what he wants. I said it was petty but there it is.

Slowly after learning the ways of the Kiwi, users progress to entry-level cows maybe more to the speed of someone like TJChurch. Eventually progressing to more narrow-topic cows and ones that *gasp* actually never show up here to defend their own thread. Shocking right? Who would have guessed that we have threads these days that don't go through the flowchart of how to butcher a lolcow.

I'm getting ahead of myself though. Bottom line is the Shanner thread was the easiest of table scraps to go after. Complete zero effort of "Shaner Senpai plz notice me". That's more so the reason why I don't really care if it gets locked. Not because of any involvement from Kirby or from what he's doing now. Stop painting banned members and the sites they congregate at as the boogeyman. It validates the amount of control they have still have and encourages them to scheme more knowing we'll react. I like the call itself though.

Really, I liked Shaner because I got burned out on Sluthaters, pedos, Horrorcows, etc. & it was nice to just laugh at a dumb guy who did dumb things. Watching his autism was therapeutic, in a way.

This is a good point. However, I think a break would be good. Let Len get comfortable & think he's "won" for now. Hopefully the weening will die down in the interim as well, then we might get better content. We could probably open the thread again once we get word from Saul about the previous trial or when the next trial rolls around, but for now we do have a group.
