I really miss old,Windows 98 gaming.
That install wizard things that showed screenshots of the game,old funky menus and music in the CD autorun,the really great menus.
It seems PC gaming kinda lost that magic

They've released DLC for POSTAL 2 like 1-2 years ago too.

Meh. Good for those who never played the original one? Also hard to take the postal guy seriously since they are using the same voice actor as in postal 2 which was more hilarious than anything.

Yeah can't say I see the point, Postal 1 just, tbh, wasn't a very good game from any standpoint. It's the Evil Dead to Postal 2's Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness. Utterly Forgettable.

I agree. I loved Postal 2 (modded to hell and back, admittedly), though my main issue with it was that it would not stop crashing. Postal 1 was 'oh hey, this is kind of interesting, I guess?' at best.

Yeah, Postal 2 itself was light-hearted in comparison what with having dark comedy to it. Postal on the other hand was something that would let one know the game itself isn't light-hearted, especially when you have the loading screens saying "the earth is hungry".

I hope they fixed the awful controls Postal 1 had, other than that, the game itself isn't very interesting, specially compared to it's sequel.

I recently bought Postal 1 on Steam, because I read about it in PC Gamer back in the day but I never got a chance to play it.

It's clunky and frustrating and really, there's not much there aside from the "shock factor".

They said when they were making latest Postal 2 expansion Paradise lost that they didn't have enough money to create a new game but had enough to make another expansion to Postal 2.

Right now I think they're mostly just staying afloat but can really only afford to make these really small projects

Well I prefer this over another outsourced Postal-related project like Postal 3...we all know how "well" that turned out.
