I started watching Jace around July/August 2014 so I was a relative latecomer to the DN saga. I think what really made Deagle Nation for me was how enthusiastic Jace was about his fans and how "genuine"(yeah, it seems silly in retrospect now)his desire to please his fans were. The entire premise of Deagle Nation was a little childish, but so very endearing and I really admired how well the DN following meshes together almost with no conflict. The DN ride was an emotional rollercoaster with a lot of us at times being really worried for Jace's/Eli's safety and it was really exhilarating to wait for Jace's streams. It was always pleasing to see his fans produce cool fan art and in general the semi-ironic Dudebro culture around Jace/DN was so funny as hell, that I kinda hope that the fandom keeps it alive one way or another.

I really hope that it's like Jace said, that this isn't the end, but rather a new beginning :semperfidelis:.

I just feel honored to have been a part of all this madness via the constant audience interaction he allowed. Jaces videos actually really helped me out with my depression, it was the one thing I could spend my time watching that I knew would take my mind off things.
I really hope you read this thread Jan.
Sincerely, thank you.
Give my regards to the rest of the mde team as well, they've given me countless laughs

Godspeed you glorious son of a bitch

Also, tell your mom she's an awesome actress. The stream with her was absolute gold.

Deagle Nation taught me a new outlook on life. It showed me the gamer lifestyle. It taught me the joy of life as a Gamer of the Battlefield, I learned to respect all are armed forces and NEVER GIVE UP. I got a marine's attitude, I hustled loyalty and/or respect and I finished the fight.
Deagle Nation was never just a masterfully conceived and executed internet pronk. It was a fuckin' way of life. At least on stream days. I felt so close to the commander on that one time when I drank 2 monsters and a big bag of cheesy doritos and then puked. It was like a little bit of his spirit had been passed onto me through the online. Tyce taught me that skealetins are people too and that jenk is bad yo. Eli taught me not to go to Israel. I'll carry what I've gained from all this until the day I get scoped out by a tango on some distant battlefield. The spirit of the Nation will live on in the gamers it touched.

Thank you Commander, you're a fuckin' legend in the eyes of those who live on the battlefield.

Jace is the funniest person I've ever seen. I laughed until it physically hurt, and I had to look away from the screen, at moments like the Code Red Dew. Looking back over all of it, it's more impressive and maybe it's actually funnier to know he's in on the joke. Whatever form it might take, I hope Wednesday won't be the last we see of Stryker.

As I stumble through this life,
help me to create more laughter than tears,
dispense more cheer than gloom,
spread more cheer than despair.

Never let me become so indifferent,
that I will fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child,
or the twinkle in the eyes of the aged.

Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people,
make them happy, and forget momentarily,
all the unpleasantness in their lives.

And in my final moment,
may I hear You whisper:
"When you made my people smile,
you made me smile.
