There are a lot of batshit insane people out there who subscribe to absurd beliefs, and as funny as those people are, the "prophets" they get all their batshit ideas from are just as amusing. Each one of these people have their own communities and followers, but together they make an amusing mix of insane conspiracy theorists and calling each other out for being false prophets and aliens.
Firstly, I came across a website called SATANSRAPTURE.COM run by a man named Richard Landes (aka Pastor Harry Walther). His website is something special, with it being in all caps, having a classic web 1.0 layout, and an endless supply of batshit conspiracy theories/ his prophecies. Some of my favorite ones are:
Now Sherry Shriner died on January 8th of this year, but she has left behind a massive internet footprint, with two dozen or more websites devoted to nonsense. Notable links/ pictures from Sherry include:
thelightgate, which has some extremely amusing images and a link to a childran's book that's discussed more below.
Sherry also sells Miracle Mineral Supplement (MMS), which you might remember the horrors of from this thread.
While researching Sherry, I came across more infighting and another prophet. This time, it's from a website called almightywind.com, and the infighting can be found here, where the minister of that website claims that sherry is a demon and an alien. The site seems to be run by a woman who calls herself Elisabeth Sherrie Elijah and her husband. Some links include:
Finally, I came across a children's book called Danny Doogle: The Lords of Mars. It's available free online and is about a kid named Danny and his friends who come across a series of cattle mutilations and discover cool alien technology. I haven't read through the book, it's about 112 pages, but it probably has some gems hidden inside given the absurd premise. The cover art is something special:
This is a deep rabbit hole of absurd nonsense that doesn't seem to end. These people seem to believe in every conspiracy theory you could think of and almost seem to be trying to out crazy each other. The infighting is probably my favorite part though, having insane people trying to discredit each other while trying to sell their own brand of insanity is just... special.
EDIT: Sherry already has a thread, which can be found here. The Almighty Wind people also have a thread, which can be found here.
