"Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed they’re ending production of PS Vita next year.

The news comes via an interview with Sony Interactive Entertainment senior vice president Hiroyuki Oda and Famitsu, where the Sony boss confirmed they will stop shipping the handheld in 2019.

Beyond that, Oda noted there aref no plans for a successor."

It was still around? I mean, were new units and games even being sold? I mostly play PC so I don't look at aisles much, but were they still committing shelf space to that abortion?
I believe there is only new units produced for Japan only as I haven't seen a new in the box vita available in years now.

New systems outside of Japan? No. But I have seen Vita games out in the wilds of retail stores.

Just not that many.

I was stupid enough to buy a Vita when they were new. It taught me to never waste money on a console when it was new that doesn't have massive third party support after the first year.

At least it had a good Digimon RPG...oh wait that was also on the PS4 as well.

It's a console for weebs.
It's been hacked now. Any vita without 3.69 can be hacked and eventually someone might hack that too.
