Am I misreading this, or is this person seriously claiming that their Tourettes outbursts trigger their "PTSD"? That's like the making-yourself-poop-by-coughing of mental illness. I know it's probably just some Tumblrette lying or exaggerating for attention but that seriously dumbfounds me.
They're also claiming that the crippling effects of their 'PTSD' triggers can be eased by playing Tiny Tower. See, they're not just bored and lazy, they were totally triggered and only Tiny Tower could help. It's a therapeutic tool, really!

Repressed memories do not exist. They're either false memories or memories that are forgotten and remembered later just like normal memories. The latter usually happens when someone is very young and thus is poor and remembering things, because the brain isn't developed enough yet to be good at keeping memories. It's not that the brain is trying to protect itself from trauma. The problem with traumatic memories is that you can't forget, no matter how much you try to. I won't get TL;DR here, though I was considering a post in Deep Thoughts about DID and repressed memory, which I will do if you want. If not, but you wanna know more, check out Elizabeth Loftus as a starting point.

The weirdest mention of PTSD I heard of was someone who was triggered by Taylor Swift because it reminded them of their abusive ex-partner when they see or hear her.
If that really exists, it's just agoraphobia.
The sky actually has its scary aspects. During the day it's blue and conceals what is actually behind it, but most of what is in the sky is utter nothingness. On a moonless night, it is a look out into infinite expanses of emptiness.
It is a concrete, physical reminder of how absolutely unimportant and meaningless you are in an uncaring universe where you have no privileged position.
Oh, yeah, that's probably why tumblr doesn't usually have that particular trigger.
I swear these tumblrites and their downplaying of mental disorders is just sickening.

Which is ironic given that movie actually has a decent portrayal of a character with PTSD in it; from that chick space marine (Calhoun I think her name was).
Whenever she heard the words "dynamite gal" (such as when Fix-It-Felix called her it as a compliment), she'd lose her shit, as it was the nickname her fiancee gave her. In her game-programmed backstory, the cyborg bug aliens that she and her fiancee and fellow marines fight against in their game essentially crashed her wedding and assimilated said fiancee among them, forcing her to kill her own would-be-husband or risk getting killed by him and the other bugs.
I mean it's an over-the-top fictional portrayal, but it's still a way better depiction of PTSD than the pussy version little shits come up with.
