So I found this on the BBC News website this morning.

And it made me think, why don't we have a thread on this individual? After all, it can be argued that Mr. Arobieke is the proto-lolcow, and pretty much shows what happened with strange individuals before the dawn of the World Wide Web.
The article explains his life well, but key points are, dude liked to prowl around the Merseyside area in the 80's for young muscular men in order to feel their muscles and, later on, get them to squat lift him. This proved so bizarre that he became an urban legend and something Scouse mums used to scare their kids with.
Aki always claimed that there was nothing sexual about this, and some psychologists seem to agree, but I'm more inclined to think differently. After all, Aki is the type to stalk his victims that refuse to play along, so much so, at one point he chased a young lad to a train station, making him feel the need to hide in between a train and a platform and touching the live wire in the process.
That's right, Aki lead to the death of a man.
He was tried for manslaughter but got away with it due to lack of evidence and the fact he wasn't really doing anything illegal. However he did get jailed for a bit in the late 2000's due to him breaching the ASBO he got preventing him from doing his thing.
That ASBO was lifted yesterday.
So gentle Kiwis, take heed if you are ever around the Liverpool area, especially if you're a bodybuilder, for nothing can now protect you from Purple Aki.
