So I recently found a couple of interesting threads on /cow/ discussing the state of PVCC. For those of you who don't know, it's basically an older trolling forum dedicated to Chris, led by Cogsdev. Account creation has been closed since around 2012 and predictably user numbers have dwindled. Anyway, the thread revealed a couple of interesting things (for the record, I don't know how much of this was already known to the Kiwi).
- Cogsdev is now a huge SJW and even contemplated shutting down the CWCki because of its "transphobia".
- Several members are stalking and blackmailing each other with dickpics.
- Most well-known trolls have accounts but have stopped posting.
- There is a huge divide between a privileged "Inner Circle" and the regular userbase.
- Access to subforums is a mess, with request posts being necessary to even view forums.
- A few years ago, Clyde Cash and half the userbase left the forums for a website called "Buzzleberry" which didn't last but caused a huge shitstorm.
- Dissenters are often banned Neogaf-style.
One could just blame this on sour grapes, but a lot of current and ex-members also showed to confirm the info. But I don't know, do any of you guys have PVCC accounts (besides @Marvin )? What are your memories of the forum?
