So if you haven't been following this, and I don't blame you if you haven't, there's a poster on 4chan who calls himself "Q". New York Magazine did a pretty good writeup that I'll steal chunks of so I don't have to retype this shit out myself.

Q claimed to be a high-level government insider with Q clearance (hence the name) tasked with posting intel drops — which he, for some reason, called “crumbs” — straight to 4chan in order to covertly inform the public about POTUS’s master plan to stage a countercoup against members of the deep state.

Q knows things that nobody else does. For instance, he was able to predict that Trump would use the word "small" in a tweet. And he once posted some blurry pictures that 4chan decided were proof that he was on Air Force One.

Anyway, Q claims that all of the deep state members, which includes the Clintons, Podestas, Obamas, McCains, Romneys, etc etc etc are all in the process of secretly being rounded up and arrested, and that they're all wearing baggy clothes because it's the middle of winter they're secretly wearing ankle bracelets because they're all secretly under arrest.

If this sounds insane, that's because it is. But any good conspiracy will draw plenty of actual crazy people, and this one's no exception:

You can basically click on any Qanon or /r/CBTS_Stream thread and find batshit insanity that makes Pizzagate look reasonable.
