Quality youtube channels you mainly only need to listen to -

Rice Is Ready

Mmmm, red velvet
kiwifarms.net

Shoggoth

kiwifarms.net
I found that besides Warhammer lore videos I really like listening to tech talks from conventions in the background, but that's a bit niche.

Mein Garten

Corona Virus Survivor 2020

of the creepypasta channels I like Chilling Tales for Dark Nights https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC79H1bXWDNodOD8_VtZd_DA
They focus on having really good narrators. Story quality is average to great, no "WHO WAS PHONE?" crap.

I'm also a fan of SFIA
Sometimes a bit overly optimistic and the guy has a lisp (the lisp gets way better as the videos get newer) but generally a pretty grounded look at what is possible and how it could be done. Very whitepilled.

In that same vein only more grounded/current events
John is a decent author but he gets interviews with really smart and productive members of the scientific community and asks the kinds of questions that don't lead to answers that are difficult to understand. His interviews are posted as Event Horizon.

Takodachi

タコニナル
kiwifarms.net
If you like medical stuff, his cases are quite interesting and are kinda long

Or civvie if you like "retro" game reviews.

CB if you are a fucking nerd, he tries to make something weird every video and explains it in a way even normies are able to grasp the basics

only history related channel not influeced by (((them)))

You cant forget about E;R senpai, his bitchute has even more videos that jewtube forced him to remove.

What I listen/have listened to
  • Mad at the Internet - Ran by our dear leader Null and covers specific lolcows, weekly habbenings, and fat chicks.
  • Fredrik Knudsen - Covers weird people and events from internet history with a neutral "documentarian" approach.
  • Toad McKinley - Mister Metokur with a feeder fetish.
  • E;R - Movie/TV show reviews with edgy right-wing humor.
  • Hans-Hermann Hoppe - Not a specific channel, but a lecture from economist Hans-Hermann Hoppe. Talks about history from an economic point of view and gives a good glimpse at the ancap ideology outside of the memes.
  • The Distributist - Niche, but interesting analysis of politics from a neoreactionary point of view. Currently on hiatus.
  • HorrorBabble - Well-done narration of classic horror stories (H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, Edgar Allen Poe, etc.).
  • Jim Can't Swim - Breaks down the psychology and tactics of police interrogations.
  • Porsalin - Youtube documentarian. Originally from the O&A community, but branched out to cover Sargon of Akkad and Baked Alaska. On indefinite hiatus.
  • SPCC.live - Archive of old SPCC screams.
  • The Dick Show - Great podcast with the Kiwifarms seal of approval. There's also an official highlight channel on Youtube.

I listen to CTFDN occasionally, mainly to critique the stories. Narrators are pretty good, but I find the story quality to be generally low with a few rare exceptions. Maybe I'm just picky or expecting too much out of internet creepypastas.

if you like RedLetterMedia, their now dead gaming channel is basically just an RLM podcast. they spend more time talking about movies, TV, comics, and other random topics than talking about the game they're playing. it's usually just Rich and AIDSMoby but sometimes Mike or Jay will join.

SleepyCabin is also great.

Yeah Ian from horrorbable is good when it's just him talking but he tries to do accents or girl voices sometimes and it makes me instantly want to hit pause and find something else. To their credit they mostly do old published works iirc ya? that's one way to keep quality high but output inevitably runs dry.

Saxxon

"But who farms the lolcow farmers?"

Oneyplays if you want something funny, don't worry most of the time you won't notice that they are playing a game.
Techmoan if you wanna hear a britbong talking about electronic devices old and new.
The craftsman, guy makes a lot of resin toys and other crafts, super relaxing voice.

Lol, guess I haven't listened to any with him trying to do an accent. But yah, he mostly does old published work, and at least the ones I've listened to weren't dialogue heavy.

Alien Theory - A fantastic Alien/Predator themed channel where you can listen to comics within the series read like a novel. I constantly listen to this channel while I work.
Ask A Mortician - Learn about death through history and today.
Alternate History Hub - A great 'what if' channel explaining what may have happened in history if you changed something, even something very small.
Certifiably Ingame - Mostly Star Trek lore and species guides, but touches on other science fiction species and civilizations.
CivilizationEx - History and Lore explained for various media worlds, like Game of Thrones and Star Wars.
FudgeMuppet - Elder Scrolls lore and history.
TheVolgun - SCP Foundation entries read for you!
Sam O'Nella Academy - Weird history explained with stick figures.
Screened - Video essays that explore various themes in movies, such as horror and broken relationships.
The Tale Forge - Mostly stories from the /tg/ board and features classics such as the Tale of Old Man Henderson and the All Gaurdsmen Party.
ralfydotcom - A guy from the Isle of Man reviews alcohol and actually knows a lot about it.
All Things DnD - Narrated submitted Dungeons and Dragons stories.
Keque - /x/ board readings with spooky music.
Defunctland - Documentaries about closed theme parks, tv shows, and other things rendered defunct.
Invicta - How ancient people lived and died, mostly about war and military.
Hungarian Folk Tales - Just like it says, very cute and high quality.
OneMindSyndicate - Warhammer 40k lore.
I Am - Stories from people through history.
TheReportOfTheWeek - I don't know why but I love to listen to this weird little man talk about fast food like one would review a vintage wine.

Here's my go to list for when I just need to sit on my computer and work for hours.
