Question re "unspoiling". -

Hi! Earlier today posted thread about a Canadian dental hygienist losing his license for treating his wife. I used the spoiler tags for the main news story, since it seemed pretty long. A few minutes ago saw where the mod had "unspoiled" the story.

Where did I make an error? Apologize if I did. Am concerned about getting whacked for not using a spoiler, so when in doubt I use the spoiler. Are there any hard and fast guidelines for using a spoiler when posting long stories?

Glad to do that, just didn't want to get whacked for doing so.

I use spoilers for op-eds, with no problem. So you can see why I had a question.

Because nobody reads the article and it's more to scroll past. I was actually thinking of phone posters for once.
