Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Waiting on a response from upstream.

we discuss Chris because he's an oddity of behavior and circumstance. He's puzzling to us. It's engrossing to speculate about all the things that had to go wrong, how they went wrong, and who got them wrong. His awful attitude and delusional beliefs are mind-boggling to us.
He's a football bat. An Escher stairwell. A trainwreck. We have to talk about him with others who are seeing the same thing.

Chris is a horrible terrible human being. He's not even a human being; he's a vermicious knid - a skeezy, despicable rat of a meat blob. He's worse than Hitler and deserves to die. Obviously, this forum exists to plan out ways to make his life worse. Someone has to do it. 
I discuss more on lolcows than Chris.
I lurked for a long time but signed up to access lolcow general. But I have to say, I find Chris' stories infinitely compelling and I genuinely enjoy reading them. I could read a 1,000 page leather bound book on the guy's life. I don't wish harm or trolling on him, and I hesitated to sign up before for that reason...I don't want to be seen as one of his trolls, and in a way, I was afraid that if he actually did something bad in real life (like what seemed possible during the Snyder incidents) that these boards would be brought into the spotlight as "See, this is why he snapped!". But after reading a lot while lurking, I see that it's pretty chillax here.
Everybody loves a good story. Chris' life is the story of a boy with a disability brought up believing he is perfect. In his adult life he knows what he wants and he knows how to get it, but he exempts himself from the rules of reality and then is shocked when he discovers that he doesn't always have his way. It's a perpetual cycle of failures that has slowly eroded at his person and now he is barely human. It's a gripping devolution that you'd expect from some sort of novel, a type of person who is so one dimensional that he can't be real, but he is.
The CWCki is an open board that was designed to compliment the actual CWCki. From what I understand, too much speculative material ended up in what should have been a completely empirical, factual wiki so people were encouraged to speculate here. A lot of interesting people come here, which is why I volunteered to support the board in its current incarnation after the freeboard setup we had going on failed.
In short, it's gossip. Why do people obsess over people like Paris Hilton or that Kardasian woman? At least Chris is interesting.
