Re: Anthony Mackie being a "coon" (and ugh, I feel nasty just typing that), that seems to be a growing attitude in some circles. An SJW friend of mine recently posted something about how if you cite Dr. Ben Carson as an inspiration, you're racist. (Because he's on the wrong side politically? I dunno.) Few things garner more hatred than an apostate.

As for the post about the girl crying in class ... Well, fucking hell, that's counterproductive, isn't it? That girl has just learned that if she feels bad about what happened to black people before she was born, then black people today will shout her down and tell her she has no right to even express grief and sympathy. That's not going to sway her future opinions at all.

Yeah, for real. If that had been me, I probably would have filed a complaint. That has to be an incredibly toxic learning environment. In a classroom, you're supposed to feel comfortable and free to ask questions and debate. In that classroom, if your skin is the wrong color, you're immediately shut down and ridiculed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to diminish black experiences, but if you really, truly want equality, then you cannot go about like that.

For the record: Charlemagne is a radio host for New York’s Breakfast Club. He is not a musician. He’s also not a good interviewer unlike the person who he worked under, Wendy Williams. Charlemagne tends to beef with celebs on Twitter, so he’s not a saint. Vlad TV always invite him for insight on events in Black music, but, excuse my French, he’s a bitch ass nigga and I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.

Azealia Banks has beef with Iggy Azealea (and she’s not the only one because she’s shunned by a lot of people) because when she was putting out her EP 1991, Iggy took her name and caused a lot of confusion. Azealia has also expressed that Iggy desecrates the form of rapping since Iggy is not genuine. In Rap circles, authenticity is very important. Iggy is an Australian girl rapping in a “black” accent. She also claims to break barriers in Hip Hop, which is bullshit. We have white rap music acts that have done considerably well: 3rd Bass, the Beastie Boys, and Bubba Sparxxx to begin with and they didn’t compromise who they were to get where they were. The other issue Azealia has with Iggy has been that Iggy doesn’t freestyle (which is also a strong and in some circles fundamental to be a strong rap artist) or even write her own raps. Iggy also is VERY racist, saying things about Mexicans and how she’s the new slavemaster. Iggy, like Banks, also burns bridges over small shit. Recently both rappers pissed off Rosenberg and Ebro of Hot 97, especially after Banks had a heartfelt discussion about race during her interview. Banks is not a clean stone, but Iggy is no fresh daisy.

My issue with Iggy has been her thin skin. As a rapper, you boast and brag your way to the top. If you want to be on top, you must take what you dish out. 50 Cent made his career beefing with pop rappers. Iggy always get hurt when people make comments about her. Azealia also has an issue with the rapper that discovered her, T.I. (That’s another story.) Azealia calls Iggy Igloo Austraila and it has stuck ever since.

TL;DR: The Azealias are beefing. Iggy isn't innocent. Charlemagne is a snake too.

No problem. The whole thing is this: Part of why Iggy Azealea is hated is because of why a bunch of pop stars are hated: She is blatantly manufactured to make hits and that doesn't sit well with people, especially those in the rap community.
