Well, that's a given. I don't like when children have to parent. It doesn't put the elders in a good place. "I'm gonna tell Mom!" only does any good when Mom isn't exhausted from work and raising two kids on her own. Of course she would expect the elder to have control of the younger. But brothers and sisters have their own issues. If she had two girls, it would have been simpler, I think.
