You don't even to go as far as making a couple of comments. Just not actively speaking in favor of whatever cause people are raging about is enough to be labeled anti-cause these days.

By that measure I'm anti-GG and anti-anti-GG. And since I don't speak in favor of anti-anti-GG either, I must also be anti-anti-anti-GG and at the same time anti-anti-anti-anti-GG.

He literally just spoke out against gamergate once or twice on twitter. He never injected his grudges and biases against it into his Youtube series. He never went out of his way to endorse Zoe Quinn and other anti gamergate figures as unsung heroes.

It was just some comments. That's it.

That's enough for these people to get pissed at him.

He made a passing reference to Gamergate in one of his latest videos. He didn't even say "Gamergate," just referenced that it was another video game scandal that ended in "-gate."

This whole debate (and to a degree some parts of the culture wars in general) is like a little ghetto where people isolate themselves so they don't have to acknowledge actual political discussion or causes, but instead can fight an internet sperg-war and feel like it matters just as much.

The people who still cling to it are the ones who didn't move on to big-boy politics, and still try to defend or attack some weird idea of gaming culture in isolation from general society. The phenomenon did serve as a political awakening for a lot of Millennials and Zoomers, and I think that's why liberals are so upset about it, but they mostly left gamergate early on and became active in normal politics.

A mixture of both. There is a possibility that AHS is taking closer looks at KiA2 especially that KiA2 is in hot water now to the point that even posting "burn in hell" would get your comment removed by the Reddit admins, unlike KiA which actually had a mod team having communications with the admins (which does inevitably led to overmoderation).

Even then, as I said before KiA's moderation also fucked up in some aspects (e.g. banning selfposts which was the final straw, making fun of cuckoldry can get you warned in KiA etc.) so I really can't blame users there to switch over to KiA2.

As for which subreddit would hold longer, the answer would be obviously KiA unless KiA2 decided to enforce too many strict rules to the point to avoid getting banhammered by the admins which would led the community to form another KiA subreddit nobody asked for like KiA5 (since KiA3 and KiA4 were actually taken but very obscure)
