TrollX wins the award for the most radical change in a subreddit, ever. Originally used to post gender-swapped memes and rage comics, in recent years turned into a wretched hive of SJWs and virtue signalling. Constantly causing drama, falling for trolls, shilling for basic bitch feminism and then playing the victim when it all backfires, it's surely a source of laughter for many years to come. Until it's banned like all the other incel safe spaces, that is.

Probably one of the craziest things TrollX has ever said is when they claimed that bad sex = rape. You can expect this to have started a brigade war with other subreddits, and it did, due to TrollX being a childish place full of wannabe victims that wouldn't know rape if it enthusiastically consented.

This stuff with Aziz Ansari has made the entire sub loose it's collective mind. Seems liked they were banning anyone that said maybe this girl needed to take responsibility for going home with him and her own actions. It's kind of just ironic how they keep saying women are these strong as anything bad asses who don't need no man but in the same breath say that men have all the power and they're frail socially conditioned women who can't voice their own discomfort.

They basically want to be treated like children? Because they act like women simultaneously have no agency over their actions but are so smart and empowered that they can't be held down by the patriarchy.

Well I mean I don't think it's contradictory to assert that women can be strong and independent while also acknowledging that there are cultural expectations placed on girls from a young age to be obedient, quiet, self-conscious, put their discomfort aside for others, etc. and that on average, men are taller, stronger, and heavier and that can become intimidating even without a weapon. Obviously that doesn't apply to Aziz though cuz he's a twig. He'd probably snap in two if she executed a self-defense sneeze.

"Strong" doesn't necessarily mean physically strong, nor does it mean stronger than everyone else.

Also I think it's quite limiting to say that women are on the whole more agreeable just based on society pressure aka the patriarchy rather than it be a biological or inbred evolutionary basis. Because the things you've listed that are average for men are physical due their biology /hormones not due to social pressures.

Those were two separate thoughts, not a contrast. It's not so much "the patriarchy" as it is cultural/societal/gender norms and expectations, and that definitely exists – you can probably more easily recognise it in other societies because you're not immersed in theirs and so it's not normalised to you.

If someone doesn't think a dude can be imposing without a weapon just by virtue of being bigger, taller, and stronger while getting in their personal space, then just wait till they share a jail cell with Bubba.

Edit: because I got confused over the names. But Angela Davis is also a piece of work. My favorite bit is when a bunch of Czechoslovakian prisoners wanted her to publicly oppose prisoners in socialist countries (she has a strong anti-prison stance). In the case of Ansari, I think they were both jerks. She should have said, no, I don't want this rather than, "let's just take it slow, because I don't want to hate you" or whatever she said. But at the same time, dude should realize that "take it slow" doesn't mean, "I want to fuck you in the ass". It doesn't equal rape or assault, just two stupid people.

Why you'd want to have sex with someone who's not really in the mood, I can't fathom.
