Do you have a source on that? Because I find that hard to believe. The consensus of nearly all scientists is that race is more of a social construct than a biological one. Although there are genetic differences between populations, we're more similar than we are different. As far as I'm aware, scientists do not classify races as subspecies because there's not enough genetic differentiation.
