Everybody knows the story of Lawbreakers by now. In 2014, Cliffy B - who had departed from Epic Games - founds Boss Key Productions in Raleigh, NC with the intention of creating edgy new games that go against the grain. After years of development and intense marketing, the result was... well, this:

So the game fails immediately and by November, Boss Key Productions has gone almost completely silent despite making a big song and dance about communication and transparency being among their key virtues. Employees are soon found to be leaving for greener pastures and the closure of the studio seems like an inevitability.
On April 5, they finally release a statement:

And that was the end of Lawbreakers. But wait! Cliffy isn't ready to give up yet. He's working on something new, as you can see - something that'll blow your god damn socks off and make all the haters eat their hats.
Earlier today, he unveiled his masterpiece. The saviour of Boss Key Productions:
...An early access pre-alpha F2P Fortnite battle royale clone. Of course!
And to prove that he's no beta who needs daddy's money, Cliff upped the stakes by completely failing to find a publisher:
Of course, Cliff has some challenges ahead of him. For one, the unwashed masses are already terrified and jealous of his genius:
Let's face it: This is going to be a sad, laughable mess and the death of Cliff Bleszinski's studio, so I want to watch it unfold in real time. It releases at 12 PM EST today.
I, for one, can't get over the irony that his former employer created the very game he's now trying to compete with.
Bonus: Despite their pride about having fucking unisex bathrooms in Lawbreakers, there are no female characters in Radical Heights and there won't be until "launch". They're already taking some fire for this.
