If Chris did play some sort of tabletop game he would make sure to find orbiters that would let him be level 20 and have the power to have all the powers. To most people, this would be a boring and stupid game- sort of like playing poker when you can draw unlimited aces and there's no gamble. But to Chris it would be just peachy.

Anyone Chris listens too actually ask him whats up with the merge and why isn't anything actually happening? I was kinda expecting him to to tweet something out, double down tonight and claim a purple lightingbolt was going to strike time square NY, sweep across the nation and turn the united states into toon town or something similar.

He'd half-ass some reply about red tape slowing it down.

The Merge is Chris's way of coping with his life problems, but he hasn't felt the need to resort to it for awhile since he feels his life is going well. He's figured out he can stiff his creditors with no short-term consequences, so more money freed up for toys, he has a shiny new hobby in making TSSSF cards, and he has a ton of enablers who will role-play with him about his fantasies and give him attention. The Merge is always going to be there since it's too deeply ingrained in his beliefs, but for now it's mostly on the backburner.
