This has either got to be some serious cash or we are correct about Barb's state and Chris is panicking about his future post-Barb. Or both.

Maybe it's getting to the type of money that could afford in home care for Barb, though I wager even if it was his intent to do something like that he'd still squander the funds.

This seems like a good theory, because him not knowing about Noriega or Operation BARBarossa is one thing, but him not knowing who Ian Brandon Anderson is just impossible to me.

Therefore, wouldn't it be possible that they took advantage of that by somehow making IBA look like a decent guy? People like Chris can be manipulated a lot easier than everyone thinks, regardless of money or the sweetheart card.

I think that Chris misremembering her stems from the way that relationship ended.. It wasn't like "you were trolled again lolol". I recall it was played more like it was her simply dumping him for his life failures.
