He begs for enough Patreon money to pay off the mortgage but is too lazy to make a list of comic issues he needs to print out, buy them, sign them, and mail them out. That's not the case. Chris fulfills the vast majority of the requests he receives.

Actually, Chris has always had pretty solid ebay ratings. He's a pretty good seller on ebay when the buyers aren't weens looking to fuck with him.

He gets most of them on time.

Chris' behavior is informed by signals from his customers: money, requests, demands and threats. His customers pay him lots of money, make many requests, but little demands, and virtually no threats.

Chris' customers are self-cucking themselves. In fact, market forces should dictate Chris should send out less product than he does.

That said, anyone who tries to buy something from Chris is a sucker unless it's strictly cash and carry. Or if they're perfectly content with potentially losing their money or they just think of it as giving to charity.

They don't lose out. They do receive their content, on average. The vast majority of people who send Chris money in exchange for some good or service do receive their good or service.

Chris isn't fundamentally dishonest, and he doesn't mean to slack on his business, he is basically a kid that failed to launch in any meaningful way, and kids get distracted by stuff instead of knuckling down and doing their homework/chores..etc.

The reason Chris is somewhat sloppy with his stores is that he doesn't have someone standing over his head and actively putting his feet to the fire.

That someone has to be actually present with him, and not some faceless anon on the internet who files a complaint, though he will take those seriously enough, he just won't feel the urgency to finish things, unless things were veeeeery tight for him, money-wise. Like that John Smith thing lol.

By expanding his line, promoting multi buy deals and taking more orders rather than creating a cut off or setting a workload . He just kept taking orders and not filling them, yet spent the money until things got so bad etsy stepped in.
Fair enuff he wasn't prepared but he kept offering my options, buying in more stock he couldn't shift rather than handle the orders he had or at least kept his customers informed.

Well, to clarify, by "satisfactorily", I mean that he delivers on time and delivers what was requested.

Chris almost never tries to lie with intent. When he does try, it's fucking hilarious. He gets really... sweaty and sketchy. I don't know if he's literally sweating, because it's just over the internet, but he acts really shady, like he's a drug dealer from a cartoon.

Specifically: Chris isn't lying about needing money for bills vs toys. He believes the "wheelin and dealin" shit is an acceptable practice. He doesn't see it as being dishonest. And Chris was probably on honor roll.

Didn't he do a bunch of pre-orders and special requests too? That's the worst way to do it, especially if the person tends to let things slide, because there could be a log jam between receiving the orders and making the product.

It's not really being conned, it's more like wasting their money.

Chris doesn't actively go out and con people, he opened a store with actual (shitty) products and people are buying. So don't blame him for selling a product that amazingly, has actual demand behind it. Even if that demand is inflated by weenery.

Remember, Chris always had the delusion that Sonichu was destined to make him millions, and the current activity on his store sort of reaffirms that delusion in his head.

I wouldn't be completely surprised to see him blaming the trolls for him not doing it earlier or something.
