I think that a big part of honest content is that he wants people to believe him when he's telling the truth/lying, so he adds in a detail that makes things more believable and not feel made-up, this is something we all do to an extent, but because Chris lives in a weird autism bubble that's filled with toys and maintained by geriatrics, he doesn't understand that not any detail will work there, and some details are gonna put you in further trouble than you were initially, like, you don't defend yourself from an assault case by citing that you were in another town murdering someone else.For example, being "true and honest".
