Wow it must be SO difficult for you to see people pointing out how misogynistic Quiet is as a character, or for people to point out that you're being catered to all the time. Crossing Eden is one of the favorite targets of /v/neoFAG and the 2nd GAFfot I've made a thread on after the explosion of content in that thread. Alongside Lime he is one of the most mocked of his species of cows. We've been talking about him every so often for ages now so it's about time we give him his own thread.

He is special to us not just for his appearences in the GAF thread, but because he's a hardcore DSP enthusiast willing to defend Phil from his detractors any chance he can get.

Well, that's true but in this case as I showed towards the end he's so annoying in his undying videogame feminism that NeoGAF is bothered by his screeching. No doubt there are people floating on GAF or ResetERA now that believe Eden is a hypocrite for liking Phil.

I don't think he's still a DSP fan (though I could be wrong). Given that he completely scrubbed his Youtube channel I assume he's probably embarrassed by it and wishes everyone would forget.

I'm familiar with Eden. Before I was in the SoK I got into it with him. But first I should give some background... I really like to write. For me it was starting to become more than just a hobby. It was something I was beginning to take seriously, and I did it every day. One day we got into it over TLoU Left Behind controversy. Which is what I believed sparked a lot of peoples opinions that Neil Druckmann has become an SJW. This was on top of him knowing I didn't like DSP as well. At first Eden tried to mock my drawing skills. It didn't work because I really didn't care what he thought about that. I never professed to be an artist. So then he went after my writing, and I admit that hit hard. It shook my confidence for the longest time having some art school kid telling me I was shit at something I had become so proud of, and for the longest time I never wrote again. I lost all belief in myself. During my time in the SoK I tried to build my confidence back up by getting the opinions of my "friends" because I wanted to know if Eden was actually right or not. If maybe I should just give up for good. They gave me positive encouragement, but after I left the SoK I always wondered if that positive encouragement had been lies just to make me feel good, and that hurt my confidence even more.

Although lately seeing that Eden has turned into an SJW has changed my outlook on things. I feel as though I really shouldn't have taken his opinions all that seriously to begin with, and I wasted so much time over nothing. I'm not going to let a guy who champions Anita Sarkeesian beat me, and I'm not going to give up just because he thinks he knows everything being some art school fuckboy. In the end his words may have caused me to defeat myself for a very long time, but I've got my second wind and I'm not going to let him or anyone make me feel like a failure anymore, and cause me to lose sight on what's important to me. What matters is that I pick myself up and make something I'm proud of.
