From The Sun:
SHOCKING footage shows the drummer of the rock band Razorback livestreaming his own suicide today as he jumps 34 floors to his death.
Brian Velasco, 41, said goodbye to his friends and family while recording live online on the roof deck of an apartment in Malate, Manila, in the Philippines.
The musician said to the camera “I’m going to go now” before saluting his band mates.
He then stands up and leans over the edge before finally saying “here I go” and plunging to his death.
The video has since been taken down from Facebook.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD) Homicide Section, his lifeless body was found on a safety canopy on the ground floor at 9.45am local time this morning.
Music promoter Dudee Alfonso confirmed that Velasco jumped to his death, reports the Philippine Inquirer.
Investigators believe that the drummer fell from the 34th floor from a roof deck, according to reports.
Velasco mourned the loss of his beloved pet dog in November and found it difficult to celebrate his birthday later that month, it has been reported.
The 41-year-old joined Filipino rock band Razorback in 1996.
Following the success of their second album Beggar’s Moon, the group has opened for US bands such as Rage Against the Machine and Metallica.
