I could see Danny possibly strictly focusing on toys, wrestling, and other man-child interests, but what would Styx talk about if not politics? MREs and grimoires? Their audiences are 90% rageporn addicts. IMO, they are in it for the long haul. Live by the grift, die by the grift.

Why in god's name would anyone want to not only do a vanity press, but a vanity press associated with someone as PR poisonous as Vox Day?
I don't think this is fair to Razorfist. It has to be acknowledged that Vox Day was not his first choice of publisher: he only turned to Vox Day after his original publishers were leaned on to cancel him. It's been brought up in this thread in the past.

Man, I would self-publish on Amazon and accept whatever ass-reaming TOS they have rather than put my creative works anywhere near the toxic sludge that is Vox Day.

I seriously doubt you actually would. "Self-published e-book on Amazon" translates in almost everyone's mind to "illegible scraps of drabble that's been copy-pasted from someone's Notepad file with zero effort". You might think that Razorfist's book is as bad as that, but that's besides the point - getting a book in actual print with a real publishing house, even a small one, sets you apart from ten thousand also-rans and makes Razorfist a genuine author to agents and reviewers.

I also think you're overestimating how "toxic" this Vox Day dude is to the wider reading public. Clearly lolcow farmers who milk every creator post for each last drop of precious drama find him a nutritious source of angst, but I never even heard of the guy before this book. At first I didn't even realise that Vox Day was a pen name for a person, I thought that was what the actual publishing company was called. The silliness of being listed under "FIST, Razor" in the catalogues is probably a bigger impediment to The Long Moonlight's ongoing success than whichever of the million and one press imprints in the world are stamped on the spine.

Vox Day's house is a vanity press from all accounts I've heard, so they will take just about anything. Vanity presses have just about the same reputation as Amazon books let alone a vanity press run by the biggest nut in science fiction.

The readers might not know about Vox, but future agents and publishers will and will have an opinion about someone having to publish through a lunatic who regularly publishes racist and sexist screeds and picks fights with more well-known authors over trivial offenses.

So yeah, I would publish via Amazon over Vox.

Been watching one of his older Mythos videos. It's disturbingly refreshed to not hear a random rant on shit politics.

Occasionally he would go off tangent into politics even in his old metal mythos videos. I found it akward when he stopped his Alcatrazz video just so he say that the Hiroshima bombing was justified.

Has it been long enough for Danny to admit that Eve left him already? Her flight's been delayed for a few months now. I have no access to her Snap, so I'm curious if she is still enjoying the company of black buckbroken Americans?
He won't admit it unless his hand is forced in the matter, i.e., he gets enough questions on his streams about Eve's whereabouts in which he has no choice but to come clean. Until then, he will keep this farce up as long as he can.

I'd imagine Terran would just filter the questions and say "thanks for your donation but I won't read this out loud" like he's done before, unless the amount of donation questions is very high.

I enjoyed his take on Battletech. But I have a feeling he sucks Capellan dick for a living.

Styx is far more cerebral than Razorfist ever was, but yeah, probably.

It's so strange that he's maintained it at all for this long. Is he delusional enough to think his audience gives a shit one way or the other?

Daniel RTed a random interview excerpt that he tweeted in 2018 where a translator from MGS2 complained that Hideo Kojima is a bad writer because he cribs from movies too much:

Daniel cannot stop sucking Kojima's cock, Kojima lives in his head completely rent free. Kojima is is pretentious and not a flawless writer, but he also makes interesting games. I've watched some Daniel's livestreams just in passing and he's honestly really terrible at them. Even the stealth stuff Daniel claims to love, he's really really terrible at. Is that why he keeps shitting himself over Kojima, because he can't beat a simple Metal Gear game?
