Really strange or creepy tv shows - was it real?

I found this show I forgot about till my parents were talking about it. I didn't think this was a real show till I looked it up and watched a few episodes. It's called Hard Time on Planet Earth, the only thing I remember about it was being scared of the floating turd thing when I was 4 or 5. After watching some of it now, this has to be the most Vaperwave 80's show of all time! It also seems like a rip-off of Mork.

Weird shows? Might as well get Wonder Showzen out of the way.

This thing I saw years ago on some channel or other with subtitles. It's an eight part miniseries about a hospital that looks like a hospital drama but then there's ghosts and insanity and freaked out what the hell is going on stuff.

I watched this and never heard of it again for years. The next time I did hear about it, though, I recognized the name of the guy who made it and it suddenly made sense why it was so damn weird.

I used to live in this old whaling town that had a strange obsession with Around the Twist, I mean everyone had watched it and discussed it constantly. We had indoor recesses at school a lot because of the monsoons, we didn't have much and weather got pretty bad. We had to wait indoors for our parents to pick us up, usually school gathered us all in the library and parents would see us there safe and sound. Around 3:30 we'd tune into to Around The Twist on the local channel and watch it near religiously. At that time they were amazing pieces of creepy/strange kids stories that have turned cult like.

I watched a couple of them on Netflix and they appear more stranger than I recalled. There was also the season plots that I never picked up until I watched them back to back. It's seriously strange to watch.

I can remember Creepy Tales for Cautionary Kids was badly animated shorts about stopping habits. That is a roller coaster.

I haven't seen the original, but I enjoyed the Stephen King's remake Kingdom Hospital. It's pretty weird,, but I'm guessing less so than the von Trier original.

Back when the Sci Fi channel first came out, it had this strange show that I'd catch at weird hours, called Mysteries From Beyond The Other Dominion. Before I thought to look it up on the Internet, I was sure it was something that my 8 yr old mind just made up..

My dad recently got the complete collection of this strange anthology series called Tales from the Darkside, and I watched a couple of episodes. I'm not entire sure if they're really creepy, but they were pretty weird (the one about the old man who somehow came back from the dead and went through various stages of decomposition until he sneezed his nose off was rather neat). Doubt I'll watch more on a whim, though.

Great show. Effects don't hold up much, but a few very creepy episodes dripping with atmosphere. Inside the closet and Halloween candy are still spooky to me. That said, the theme is the best part.

This was the best episode of the show because it gave me the creeps for some strange reason:
