my ancestors don't define who I am today, and I suggest black people think the same, stop acting like the victim you didn't experience true racism.
George Floyd was a notorious criminal who robbed a pregnant woman with a gun before, police had every right to use force to hold him down.

Technically not a janny, because he doesn't, in fact, do it for free. That's the fucking CEO/co-founder's account ROFL.

As a reminder, he looks like this:

He also previously edited user comments without their knowledge because they were criticizing him.

Oh shit didn't even know its the big cheeze, I though it was some janny. This is even funnier!

How long until Reddit becomes a porn site with a few heavily moderated drumpf bad politics and wholesome memes subs?
r/ItsAFetish has gone private :semperfidelis:
The groups that got GC banned haven’t realised that they actually needed GC and other radical feminism aligned subreddits for “trans women are women” legitimacy. Not every radfem aligned subreddit was women only or even women majority. Reddit already has a huge porn base and now every non-porn subreddit will now be strictly TWAW. The small female base it had will be further reduced when the radfems leave and soon the only real women users left will be those posting on GoneWild (adding to the straight male oriented porn base) or handmaidens that gush over terrible trans make-up looks on MakeupAddiction (adding to trans visibility). There will be no female centred feminism or female only biology discussions so the remaining women will be barely visible behind trans inclusive language (e.g. “people who menstruate” etc.)

What this means is that it will be painfully obvious how much the two groups (men fetishising women and transwomen) crosses over when that’s all that is left. It’s like they want to prove r/itsafetish was right after all. Well done.

To be honest, I think this is the reason the problem has gone on as long as it has.

No matter how much people cry about censorship on these giant corporate websites, many of them are hesitant to actually leave because leaving would reduce their audience. They don't want to just talk with other people or share their opinion, they want to preach to a crowd and get lots of asspats, and the draw of these big corporate sites is that just about everyone else is using them. Every so often a wave of bans results in a small exodus to somewhere else, but that exodus never lasts for long because there's not enough of an audience to hold most users' interest.

Having a return to small forums would ultimately solve a lot of issues, but people would have to be broken of their addiction to ego-stroking first.

The closest thing to a "protest" these people could make that would have any actual effect is to disconnect from these sites entirely.

It will never happen, just like the NFL is never going to go bankrupt. It would take an ounce of willpower to do it, and they won't.

I hate this fucking timeline.
I'm pretty sure admins have access to free stickers to shape discussion.
There was a post on /pol/ (I think. Correct me if I'm wrong if someone here knows what I'm talking about) where a guy said he had a friend who worked for reddit, and that reddit employees get infinite awards on their personal accounts and that they have a certain number of "coins" they can give to friends and family to encourage people to give awards and stimulate more organic award purchasing in turn.

Reddit hasn't been worthy of attention ever since they banned r/Cringeanarchy
I'd say it was around the time that they removed it from reaching /r/all. Seeing normal users stumble into a thread and get torn apart was always hilarious. People would try and report posts/cry to the mods to no avail. It made it obvious how sanitized the rest of the site was because of overzealous powermods removing the slightest hint of disagreement or wrongthink.

Really the only people displaced by this ban are those who are not part of the Reddit army of mindless consumer drones. but like @6thRanger said the conservatives who had there subreddits banned never seem to get the hint no mater how many times it happens. They have had plenty of time to reject Reddit and at least make an account on some other site as a back up.

As someone who used to only really use the internet for flash games and rage comics joining plebbit like a year ago was a big mistake and I feel like it has ruined my creativity. if anyone has any advice on how to dereddit your brain let me know.

EDIT: what do you guys think is the change that doomed Reddit?

For me I think it was doomed from the start because of its voting system that conditions users to toe the line or risk being down voted. Socrates hated democracy because it let dumb people vote and on Reddit the exact same mob rule issue exists. the user base quantifies your posts and comments not by how true they are but by how well they fit the narrative of a subreddit and spread its and ideas. For example a comment saying "FUCK TERFS!!! TRANS RIGHTS!!" would likely get many more up votes than a well thought out comment or critique of LGBTQ issues on a trans subreddit. this is almost exactly the kind of future described in the game MGS2 where "no one can be invalidated but no one is right". I think 4chan does things way better by having most boards be on broad subjects instead of specific ones.

(also I know it shows I never edited this comment I just typed this up a while ago but never posted and added the edit just now)

It makes sense, but I definitely don't think it's organic for that post. Why? Go take a look at other posts in the announcement subs, they probably have just as many fake upvotes but this one is still lower than the others. I can't see the percentage myself, but a commenter pointed out that it was strange the post had around a 50% upvote rating.

In case you were wondering, Reddit's new ADL approved rules SPECIFICALLY ALLOW RACISM against White people, Sexism against Men, Bigotry against Heterosexuals, Harassment of "cis" (normal) people by Troons, et cetera.

No matter what they tell you: It's not Racism. It's pattern recognition and self defense.
Btw, you're getting into what is called "white fragility", so be careful: people will think you are privilege, a cuckold, and beyond that have toxic masculinity and thus aren't kind, nor emotionally intelligent enough to understand ANYTHING.

Congraulations, you now have experienced "stereotyping": all white straight men are simpswho are cuckolded and lack emotional intelligence. That is your racial prejudice.

You sadly won't be able to argue against reverse racism until you all become the minority, which is slowly starting to happen over this decade.

And the moment you fight, they will fight back, because they have always been targeted by the above group. An eye for an eye makes the world go blind, sadly.

There are actually efforts to use other websites now. The_donald and consumeproduct have set up .win sites and others have talked about moving to saidit and ruqqus. I think nationalists have finally realised that Reddit isn't for them.

That's a very interesting point. Slow trend towards degeneracy, this generating another outcry and more bans that lead to reddit being advertiser/sponser friendly SFW as possible.

For fuck's sake. The cancer of social media has metastisized to the point where even moderated, single-topic communities are subject to discussions about completely irrelevant events. All topics must be discussed at all times, everywhere. (Unless they're deemed hate speech, of course.)
I'm glad I'm a Slavshit, at least on websites that cater to people from my country can I avoid the autism vortex that is Western politics. I stopped visiting almost all mostly English-speaking websites I go to until this all blows over because someone making an off hand comment about Drumpf or the BLM protestors will inevitably spark a massive tismstorm.

I honestly wish I had that option.

That said, has anyone actually made a living off reddit? I know this sounds stupid, but what I mean is - people have made livings or gone on to have professional jobs from youtube due to the content they create. Same can be said for websites like wattpad, deviantart, tumblr(back in the day) and the likes. Has anyone actually rose to fame from reddit or is it a literal waste of time? Not that I can say I've made a living, but reddit has usually been one of the worst places for me to try and get business.
