the term “swerf“ means literally nothing, even sex workers themselves who have criticized their line of work get called a swerf it’s just another buzzword like “terf” used to silence people and make them feel bad for asking too many questions
I am getting too old to keep up with these new buzz acronyms, but your comment helped me figure it out. I'm guessing like how TERF means "trans-exclusionary radical feminist," then SWERF must mean "sex worker-exclusionary radical feminist."

Honestly, I can't take it seriously because it means you can be a SWERF and TERF. You can just respond with "yeah surf and turf is pretty good" and they will get triggered because you're implying that you eat meat.

I should probably also put this under the euphorics thread, because I know that a lot of religions and a few Christian doctrines ban cremation.
Also, I find the idea of a marked grave somewhere beautiful much more comforting than being a jar of ashes ready to be spilled.

Wasn't "sex worker" itself coined by a literal prostitute in the 70s?

Most people called TERFs aren't RFs. People hear "radical" and think "extremist" when in reality "radical feminist" is also "trans exclusive" by nature because it's a belief that differences between men and women are based in biological sex.

It all comes down to your culture and religious beliefs. Reddit has no issue bitching about "white people imposing their culture on others" but sees no hypocracy in things like this either.

There's a women named Rachel Moran who was a street prostitute for seven years, starting when she ran away from home at 14 and was pimped out by a boyfriend. She ended up getting out and going to college, wrote a book about her experiences and helped lead a campaign that successfully had hiring a prostitute made illegal in Ireland without criminalising the women themselves.

She gets called a SWERF.
It's the equivalent of calling someone a "house nigger" or a "coon" but for women who don't support trannyism and sex abuse enough for coomers.

Radical feminists support "Evangelical purity culture" now?
They know exactly what they're doing when they group all the "radical feminists" with the "conservative prudes". It's a bullshit, bait-and-switch argument, because they're trying to distract from the real reason that feminists are disgusted by these coomers. The transwomyn started this SWERF/TERF trend and they like to use this argument all the time, they know women are scared of their girl-dicks, so they just call them prudes, or slut-shamers, anti-semetic, racist, or whatever bullshit.

Radfems want to protect female-only spaces, while conservatives are just classic homophobes. But they're very different groups. They're trying to group them together on purpose.

Think about it: The logical alternative becomes that AGP troons fully admit they're men, which leads them down the rabbit hole where troons have to admit that their dicks are not wanted in washrooms, spas, gyms, and such. Or that women are scared of being assaulted by an unwanted penis in their most vulnerable female-only spaces. Troons know that REAL women are justifiably worried about being abused sexually by some sicko. (But troons don't get it and aren't worried at all. They don't have vaginas, they only fetishize them. Because transwomen are men.)

Troons take it very personally when women are against exploitation by men, because they know they are men. It triggers troon dysphoria if you remind them that real women don't have penises. These AGP troons and "transbians" openly fantasize about sticking their "girl-dicks" in women, and women know that. And here's the thing: All real women have thought about what would happen if a man raped them. AGP troons are more likely to fantasize life as being the one doing the raping. Because they don't have a vagina, they have a penis.

It should also be said that transgenderism and prostitution are very closely intertwined. It's a sort of unholy alliance. Prostitutes and OnlyFans thots have no boundaries, and many of the OnlyFans thots are transwomen. Feminists who are against porn and prostitution due to the female exploitation (by men) are the enemy of trans thots (also men).

Remember: Women didn't start the SWERF and TERF slurs. However, Troons have trained a lot of thots to do their heavy lifting by teaching them to call all feminists "transphobic" and "TERFs" and "SWERFs" when sexual exploitation is pointed out.

We can have both jars and marked graves. There's no reason why we need one or the other and I have to wonder what Youtuber planted this "original" idea in their head since both groups are self proclaimed intellectuals that can't think on their own.

In my opinion, the graveyards we have are a bit macabre, but then again the entire topic of death is a bit gruesome and there's no winning. It's all horrifying. There's a smaller Youtube channel I came across called "Ask a Mortician" and it covers a lot of the nitty gritty stuff people might have wondered but never asked. Even cremation has some gnarly details like picking pieces of bones out. There's also no reason why graveyards, despite how grim they are, cannot be beautiful. There are projects around turning people into trees. There is also ZERO REASON why you can't remember someone with stories, paintings, photos, etc. Graveyards are a gathering place made for that in mind. You have to be clinically retarded to think otherwise. My late best friend's family chose to engrave one of his characters on the gravestone, as well as a short poem friends got together and wrote. The location was made public and every now and then, people who didn't know my friend in high school, but met them online, pass by the stone and leave something behind.

I do not understand why cremation is being billed as the solution to a non-problem. The only reason I can think of is that OP is otaku obsessed like the rest of Reddit and doing the typical thing of glorifying Japanese culture. An overwhelmingly large majority of people are cremated there and it is a culture based on necessity. There is no choice. You are cremated. They cannot afford the space we have in the US. We're not needing to optimise space like this poster seems to imply. Personally, while I think Japanese graveyards are beautiful, the shrines are overall dedicated to a family, not a single person. Something like what Japan has just simply wouldn't work because younger generations are more apt to throwing away their blood families and making their own. This doesn't mean there might be no reason to disown your family, but there are so many young adults picking petty reasons to do it because their friends did.

Japanese still get grave markers in remembrance though, so the whole bullshit about a waste of space is moot.

I might not have explained it well, but the grave markers are not for 1 person like what we have in the US. I only see the same headstone for when there is a married couple. Most of the time, everyone gets a separate headstone, but from what I've seen from light research, Japan has a headstone for everyone in the family.

ETA: Funny post from r/rant about how the constitution isn't the law.

I was just perusing r/nonewnormal, seeing as it's been (quite curiously) quarantined but not banned yet, checking out what the boomers are up to... lo and behold, I see papa Nool on the frontpage.

EDIT: Thx @Cliff Booth for the plebbit archive link.
