Yeah, I've seen those too and I ware a Mjölnir necklace myself and have run into a lot of (mostly trashy unfortunately) individuals who do the same in Missouri.

I don't consider myself Neo-Pagan or Asatru anymore but I still wear the pendent, mostly as a reminder of where I come from - not in the "muh ancestors" kind of way but I understand why the Pagan aesthetic is popular among men in low class White communities. It gives young White men something to be proud of that the school system hasn't told them that they're evil for. You can't wave a confederate flag like your dad did (if you were even lucky enough to know your dad, which a lot of guys in those kind of communities weren't) and most people don't trusts the Church anymore but you're allowed to like Thor and talk about your Viking "ancestors" (despite the fact that you're probably 90% Scots-Irish) and it gives you a semblance of heritage - which goes a long way towards stopping you from taking a long walk down the last functioning rail line just outside of town or getting yourself shot by the police or overdosing on pain meds because the average per annum income in your town is 11k and you know you're not getting into college and you're probably not going to have a steady job either because the 3 factories that used to provide that for your whole county have shut down one by one over the past 20 years.
