Reoccuring Dreams -

[Antipathy]

For some reason I consistently have two dreams that don't go away. The first is me explaining something incredibly niche to my father, who is obviously just pretending to care and would rather be doing anything else, and another, rarer one I have is waking up one day and checking a website, to see a work of art I cannot possibly have made was posted on my account, with my signature in my hand on it.

Do any of you have bizarre dreams like that?

When I was younger, I had this reoccurring dream about December 23rd being Apple Day and me sitting in a long room wooden log-cabin esque room at a table all by myself eating apples, that were freshly picked off an apple tree surrounded by a very blue sky.

almost every lucid dream I have either ends with rape or sucking my own dick. it doesn't matter how unflexable you are IRL, you can deepthroat your own dick like a champ in dreams.

I use the bus to travel on a daily basis, so a recurring dream I keep having is me losing the bus for a reason or another. And yes, I always wake up thinking I'm going to lose the bus IRL or that I have lost it already.

I used these dreams where i was at fancy mall with a lot of weird shops and everything was expensive.
I don't get them any more tho.

I almost never remember my dreams.
Not since I was a kid really, but I used to have reoccurring dream about walking across some old timey battlefield with cannons going off and all kinds of war noises, but no actual soldiers around.
It was weird.

I do sometimes wake up knowing I've had a dream similar to the one I just went through but I usually end up forgetting them after waking up.

Had a dream once when I was little, like grade 1 or something that I found a secret passage at school with some friends. A few years later when entering middle school I had a dream that I showed the younger kids the secret passage before I left.

The most reoccurring dream I’ve had since I was little was falling off of something, either a building or a cliff, and right before I splat on the ground, I violently wake up and thrash around for a few seconds.
No clue what it means, but I’ve heard/read it’s fairly common.

I've had recurring dreams of me never making it past middle or high school. These dreams usually happened when I had a stagnant part of my life or I suffered a major setback in some way. One time one of these dreams felt so real that I checked to see if I really earned my high school diploma! I was relieved that it was just a dream. Fortunately, I haven't had these dreams in a very long time.

I do dream regularly of a world in perpetual darkness but nobody seems to care, like it's just nightime.
Most of the time I'm at a mall that seems like several malls I have been combined and with stores or sections that don't exist. Last time I was in this "world" I reached a level that could be considered a basement and was filled with dancing clubs, there I met to beautiful dancers that guided me back to my family. This dream (a night ago) ends with me and my family getting deeper into the "basement" and getting to a section that had bathrooms and an arcade composed of games I have never seen, most of them seemed like relics of the 90's including references to shows like Are You Afraid of The Dark?. Thing is I didn't grew up in the 90's so most of my knowledge on cheese from that era is by YouTube vids so it all looked as someone took parts from unrelated stuff and fused it all together.
I even had a dream about Easter, I was taking care of a boy that I didn't recognize and told him that he shouldn't speak with strangers. Thing is my mum told me that she has recurring dreams with a boy that appears around the house.
Other detail is that I have an extracorporeal experience during these dreams. Might be the depersonalization, but I'm myself just sometimes in this world. I just randomly jump into being somebody else. One of the ones I remember the most is a time I was with my dad in a somehow aquatic park within this place and after tagging around I experience the rest of the dream as a woman who tags around a couple she is friends with. My skintone was different, my hair was different and my face was somebody elses, yet I didn't panic.
This happens often, and usually I stay somewhat in control. Not as if I can shape reality around me but as if I can choose how wacky things get.

Yeah, it's a really common one. I only get falling dreams in that very brief time before real sleep and being awake, but they always wake me up with a jolt. My own personal one though is walking past and getting hit full on in the face by a Victorian swing boat because I didn't see it coming and walked straight into the path of one. I've woken up too many times with a girly squeal after that one.

I've had dreams where my last dog was somehow still alive and he was just running around, jumping on me and licking at me all while I'm hugging him and sobbing over how happy I am to see him again

I had a recurring dream as a kid where i would be walking down the hall of my house and a light in the other room would turn on to show that the walls were fish tanks full of great white sharks, they would chase me through the hall in their fish tank, corner me, and then i woke up.
The weird part was that I would sleep walk a lot during this time, and wake up in the hall, oh and i didn't and still don't have a phobia of sharks so idk whats up with that.

Right before I woke up today I was dreaming about trying to get into a Christmas conference of some sort at the white house. Lots of milquetoast celebrities were being interviewed as they strolled by. The plan I took to get in: Mel Gibson and I stood outside the doors with an oblong sign that had 4 panes of unsynchronized anal sphincters singing Merry Christmas. The sphinchters looked like disturbing stop-motion animation, each one ululating wildly like eyeball irises. Mel Gibson's head was huge and cartoonish, also stop-motion.

We did not get in. It was a lot more fun than it sounds.

I used to dream all the time about being a cast member/carpenter on This Old House, which is a house restoration show that ran on PBS on Saturday afternoons..

One of these reocurring dreams are when I'm falling down, I already know what they mean and is because my brain is trying to wake me up.
Getting lost and missing out important events like tests, meeting out with friends or even eating with my family.

I regularly dream that I wake up and go through my daily routines except the world looks Wonderland-ish. Every once in a while when the sun sets in dreamland, a titanic elephant wearing pepsi banners and pulling a giant pepsi balloon just kinda marches on over the town and I hear people say "these corporate advertisements get stupider every day", and they're right since it was originally a giant Coke blimp piloted by a giant laughing replica of Ted Turner saying "Its good". Feels stupidly consistent since the layout is usually the same and people I know in the dream will sometimes mention something that happened in a previous dream, like my neighbor claiming I stole eggs from his jub-jub nest, which I did, but you won't see me admitting it.

I used to have two sets of horrific nightmares for years. Unspeakable nightmares with both of the same themes. However in each dream, every single one, I came out all right. They were terrible though.
Now I am NOT TEASING, but the moment one bitch showed up in my life, the dreams, they stopped. It was like that Star Wars scene where the fighters were going down the trench and the turret guns stopped firing. Then the enemy fighters showed up from behind. In my life the moment the dreams stopped, well then hell would erupt for a long, long, nasty long time.
Those dreams accurately predicted, if you were spiritually sensitive enough, what I was in the middle of going through even before the fat smelly cunt showed up, and how bad things would get.
I won't say what the themes were, because it would be sending up a powerlevelling flare up on a level I don't want. When I dream now I pay close attention. Sometimes you can dream something spiritual, something you can't possibly have a way of knowing something is or will happen. I even seem to recall something in the Bible about people dreaming dreams as a prophecy for the future or some such.
If the same dream happens for several years straight, find someone with their head on straight to help interpret it for you. Ya never know.
And sometimes your dreams are from the bad chili you had last night. Hell Chili Man canned chili is terrible. Hot damn, they should go out of business.
